218 396-0 (BE) heads the regular empty aluminium train of Wascosa Ks, Res, ORME Rgs flats and Wascosa Hbiqss-tz van, operating as 60980 Koblenz-Lützel - Spellen (+60).
The 60980 & return 60981 headcode has been used every Monday and Friday in March so far, so hopefully the headcodes for these trains which basically run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning north and the same afternoon south have had different headcodes nearly every day they have operated in recent years.

Note, 221130 was built for Voyager Leasing Limited and was named Michael Palin at Sheffield railway station on 28th August 2002. The nameplates were removed in September 2007 and 221130 was on lease to XC Trains Limited. The class 221 fleet was sold to Beacon Rail Leasing Limited in summer 2017
Around this time some passenger trains were run as class 9 trains even though a class 9 train at the time was the classification for a Eurostar train

A beautiful Spring day exploring the Burnt River Canyon between Durkee and Unity in Baker County Oregon . Lots of wildlife, and it's calving season so lots of baby cows too
The Burnt River Canyon near Durkee is always one of our favorite drives for taking in the majestic scenery of Eastern Oregon and watching wildlife along the way.

As part of the British Railways Modernisation Plan of the late 1950s, one of the major changes to freight carriage was the introduction of continuous braking to freight wagons so as to improve speed and reliability. Previously individually braked wagons had to run at slower speeds, impeding traffic flows. One of the sadder aspects of the Modernisation Plan was that BR was unable to foresee the rapid decline in railway freight traffic that led to a massive over provision of freight infrastructure - both wagons, locomotives and freight yards. This image, taken from a Transport Age article, has no details nor location but - someone in Flickrland will know I'm sure!
