For GTWL and 5 Things About Me
Nothing earth shattering other than I like it when my numbers makes sense to me...like having gained 24 pounds in 24 weeks. Or looking at the clock and seeing that it is 12:12 or 1:11...or my favourite, 12:34:)). I like it when date coincidences happen ( all relevant anniversaries in my life share dates with other events) and like the repetition that 2 and 9 have in my life ( my favourite numbers, also my birthday numbers). It is just comforting somehow.
Pregnancy update:)
24 weeks, 2 days to be exact.
I am definitely feeling more pregnant every day, in a good way.
My doctor says everything looks terrific and was laughing at how much the baby was moving while getting his heartbeat
(thumpthumpkickthumpthumpkickkickkickthumpthump...). "Active" was how she termed him.
Not much else up other than that:)

Here goes nothing. 1⃣ I have a knack for spotting a not so well known actor/actress in a movie and immediately knowing what else they play in. 2⃣ even though my art is super detailed and surreal, I can't draw for shit. 3⃣ I rap as a hobby and was in a video that got about 3k views (not bad for locally) 4⃣ I'm 300 lbs but can backflip completely into a pool from the edge. 5⃣ my wife is my best friend. I have a 5yr old son that I adore and his mom won't allow me to see him add much as I would like. 2. I love to Karaoke and when I do, I usually get the whole bar to rock with me. 3. I was in the US Navy for 6 yrs as a Hospital Corpsman (combat medic) and have traveled the northern hemisphere. 4. I hate washing the dishes but I find it relaxing to gold clean laundry. 5. I'm the middle child of 7 kids to my family that discreetly escaped death from the Khmer Rouge that reigned in Cambodia in the late 70s to early 80s.
5 things! 1. I just started peeling oranges last week, I had never done it! 2). After being pregnant, I must wear glasses, she took my sight, it's okay. 3). I have 4 sisters, I grew up with 3 & the 4th is 13, I was an adult when she was born. 4). My first memory is helping my mom make biscuits when I was 4, she used a Tupperware tumbler to cut the dough. 5). I can't stop thinking about QuiltCon! I was tagged for #5thingsaboutme . I'm sorry I have forgotten who tagged me a while ago and I can't find you now . St Francis Hospice became a registered charity in 1997. Over the years we have saved the lives of hundreds of cats which would have otherwise been PTS for one reason or another. A few years ago St Francis Hospice looked after up to 90 cats, but due to more recent changes in circumstance we now have a limit of 25 cats which we are able to look after and care for. We currently have 22 resident cats. We are funded solely by public donations and are run by a handful of volunteers, including three trustees. It costs approximately £500 a week to keep St Francis Hospice running.

five things about me:
1: i was a single mom from the time my boys were 7, 5 & 2. it is now 20 years later and they are amazing young men.
2: i bought my home - on my own - fifteen years ago. it came together in the most magical of ways. always felt something greater than myself was working behind the scenes on my/our behalf.
3: during all those years (and still today) I always had a side job. sometimes two.
4: revived my love of art once my boys were older. it has developed into my sacred space. where I loose track of time and the world falls away. where I find myself.
5: art ignited my intuition and creative expression which has led me to intuitively create art for others - soul vision cards. it has filled my heart how they have been received.
