After a very muddy run this morning, I've had to sit in and await a delivery of a fruit/vegetable cage for my vegetable garden as I have a lot of pesky rabbits, anyway with time on my hands I got creative....

Theme: Cool and Hot Drinks

We’re Here!

And It must be 5 o'clock somewhere!

I’ve had this bottle of wine in my refrigerator for about 7 years. I kind of doubt it is drinkable now – but I have held on to it because I work for this company, and this reminds me of a bit of history. This wine is pretty well known, but not everyone knows the story behind it. The first batch was actually a fermenting mistake. Before discarding it Bob Trinchero tasted it, and found it light, refreshing, and fruity. He bottled it and lots of other people agreed. This is no longer our best selling wine, and we make many other more expensive and very fine wines. But this one played a part in moving the American masses to start drinking wine, and it is a pleasure to work for a family that played a big role in the history of Napa Valley.

A vintage watch! I found a letter in my mom's collection of mementos that talks about my grandmother receiving this watch from a friend as a gift. This makes this pendant watch extra special as she was so special to me!

How funny! It has stopped just past 5 o'clock! I wonder if it stopped there on its own or if it was reset to that point. No one will ever know!!! But, it's a good time...happy hour, somewhere!

Blythe a Day - April 11 - It's 5 o'clock somewhere

According to Ingmar Bergman, the Hour of the Wolf is "the hour between night and dawn. It is the hour when most people die, when sleep is deepest, when nightmares are more real. It is the hour when the sleepless are haunted by their deepest fear, when ghosts and demons are most powerful."

This watch was among my father's effects when he died. I changed the time myself for the photo, so there's nothing supernatural about it.

Did I go a little too deep with the shadows here???

from Japanese Dolls on the Western Toyshelf by Judy Shoaf:

Susan Beatrice Pearse (British, 1878-1980) was a prolific illustrator of children's books and producer of images for postcards and greeting cards. The images below show her pleasure in including Japanese dolls in her images of a child's daily chores and pleasures. She created two complete series in which a little girl cooks and washes for her dolls, and teaches them their ABCs, and the Japanese doll is present in each of those pictures.

It's 5 o'clock somewhere. Let Happy Hour begin.

So what will you have to drink, dear?

I have gathered some reviews from online!

• Very Nasty. Unprofessional . Very Dirty Carpets trash underneath the beds from the last people who stayed there .. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING THERE .

• Was there to visit a friend anyways the place is ran down to the point that there were no light bulbs in the lamp by the bed the telephone didnt work couldnt call the desk for builds had to walk down and then they were supposed to bring up the bulbs and never came. They had to find bulbs

• Nasty dirty, and would never ever stay there...

I would've at 1 time, back when a few people I knew ran it, and they inspected the rooms, and had things up to par. Things are falling apart there, fast.

• The absolutely worst place to stay. I would recommend a cardboard box over this. This is what I found when I pulled back the top blanket. To make it worse the owner who is an absolutely rude and condescending man had the audacity to look at me ask didn't I see you take a girl in the room with you ? For real bro ? Yeah I did no not your business and like do you not think I would know if she was having an excorcist type ordeal. He then looked at me said he wasn't comping my room offered no apologies didn't move me rooms nothing. So here you go buddy for the world to see now how disgusting your hotel is.

• Absolutely not commendable, while I was laying down in my bed playing on my phone the maids came in and starting putting things in my rear end!

• I have NEVER in my life stayed in such filth! Old food in and around the refrigerator, rat droppings everywhere. Only 1 towel and face clothe for 2 people. I called the front desk and was told they were out, and house keeping didn't arrive until noon the next day. Bedding was not changed, stains and dead bugs everywhere. I ended up sleeping on top of the covers. And y'all have the audacity to charge $75 for this? RIP OFF! The pictures on your website are totally misleading. And please tell your staff not to be drinking on the job. Your maintenance man reeked of alcohol!

• Horrible!!!! Made reservations for 4 guests but was only left two towels and wash clothes. Asked for pillows and was told everything was locked up and had no way to get any. Beds are horrible. Plugs to lamps do not work. Seen sparks when switched plugins trying to get lamps to work. Website says breakfast, there is NO breakfast. Wouldn’t have ate there after seeing the place even if there would have been. Asked to use my discounts and was told I couldn’t. Very disappointed. Will not go back. Stay away from this one!!!!

• Do Not Go Here!!! This place is thee worst!! I called and the receptionist said it was a nice room.... We arrived to find the curb appeal lacking.. The receptionist was a doughy guy with no care. The room was dingy, it stank, and the shower tub floor was broken and cracking! The toilet seat had smegma on it. It appeared like it was a crack house room. Last bad thing... It cost $90 however, One good thing... We were able to get our refund!

• The rooms had holes in the walls, the tub had burn marks all over it. The sheets where stained and nasty. The lighting was poor. We was missing half the light bulbs in the room. We told them we was missing the tv remote and they told us at 5oclock PM that they would get one to us. The next day still no remote. The hallways had bags of trash just stacked up that smelled like old beer. I would not recommend this motel to anyone

• Don't let the pictures fool you. This place is a dump. Bath tub was digusting wouldn't even trust it to take a bath. The place stunk so bad. I bought a cover to sleep with on top of bed. I STILL have bug bites all over my body. This place don't even deserve one star only got it cause I had to pick at least one. This place needs shut down. Sleep in your car or better yet in the dumpsters in parking lot. It might be cleaner. I was out of there as early as possible. Wish It wasn't so late and could of slept some where else. STIR CLEAR!

• This is by far the absolute worst place i have ever stayed at. The room was terrible. I ended up sleeping on top of all the bedding with my cloths on because it did not look clean. There was long hair on the bathroom counter and hair on the back of the toilet. There were cigarette burns on the carpet and cigarette burns all over the tub. Im a truck driver and my truck broke down so in a pinch i stayed here......Never again.....
