Nankartshang Peak was our first 5k peak ever and let me tell you: the altitude does impact your body! Literally 5m (!) away from the top I had to stop for a minute to recover! And it was one of many breaks on this 600m ascent. I thought that if you walk slowly, you can always keep going, but this trek proved I was wrong...

I volunteered to photograph St. Oswald's Hospice first ever Kaleidoscope 5k fundraising event in Newcastle. It was a great day with about 1500 people of all ages taking part and the colour towards the end was fantastic. Congrats to everyone involved for making it such a worthwhile day.

The inaugural CougarRun 5K and Fun Run on April 9, 2016 raised more than $20,000 in scholarships for Collin College students. Special thanks to honorary chair Carly Patterson, who is an Olympic champion and a Collin alum!
I received this medal and glass for running the Virtual Whiskey Run 5K
I added an extension tube to my lens to take this picture, trying to get a good macro shot. I obviously have a lot to learn about how to use those.
