Spent part of my Sunday walking through the wonderful beech forest at Ekedalen. This shot is made by 4 portrait photos stitched together to get a wider shot and to make sure at least parts of the tree tops are visible. It was my first visit there, but for sure not the last...
Imperial Beach just after sunset. Winter yields the best colored skies in San Diego... good thing it doesn't get too cold here in Southern Cali. The IB Pier is one of my favorite places to photograph. I don't get too many photo opportunities because my kids are still young... definitely need to find more time to just get out and go. For this photo I used a Lee .9 ND Grad Filter (with Cokin holder)... also bracketed for HDR.

Times are changing, the coldness is coming, the isolation also. Numb will it be in a few days time, with a cold frost.

As you can tell from those seascape shots i posted lately, I seriously enjoy lots of ACTIOooN in the foreground :P the more dramatic the better it gets for me! Also, with rays of light like this, i definitely can't let go of hdr technique in this case but then again.. what's new eh? ;) i would say this image is 29.9999% hdr-ed since the sky has been additionally processed for more details. Anyway its been a while.. trust all are well & have a fabulous Thursday!!! so sorry i'm still pretty slack in flickr :S

Its a glooomy day, really bad for taking pictures... =( ~ I was told that this is a fishing town, quite popular for local visitors during holiday seasons. Though when we was there, the town was not as buzy as we expected it to be. This part of taiwan, life is slow and more laid back.

The August Milky Way is looking good. I cant wait for the meteor shower on the 12th! I will be pulling an all nighter and wont be getting in my car for the return trip until I see sunshine.
5Dm2 and Canon 15mm f/2.8 fisheye, foreground (poorly) lit with a xenon torch. I also missed section of the tower.
Anyone have any clue on PPing these shots?? This was tweaked in LR but something tells me I still have so much to learn about these. PP seems to be an important part of astrophotography.
Good day again! Sorry for missing in action lately. I have been travelling around Western Australia for the last couple of weeks. However the main agenda was to catch up with my parents who flew in from Singapore over Easter break and show them around Perth & the surrounding. Didn't manage to get as many landscape shots this time round as I made it a point to snap more photos of my folks :) See what a good kid I'm lol! Hope all of you have been well too!
