Looks better LARGE on Black

The light was too harsh when I reached this beautiful waterfall at my hometown. Anyway, I still quite like this shot. Let me know what you think about it.

Couldn't decide whether to post the color or mono version. The sky does look better in B&W. Will post the color version later.

Anyway, for this shot, I would prefer less clouds right above the hills, but gave up after waiting for more than an hour for the clouds to clear. I really need to be more patience :)

About the same time in April 7 years ago, I embarked on this flickr journey and posted my first set of photos with my trademark on black border. Ever since then, it has been my style somewhat. As they always say... the 7 years itch, I have decided to discard my long lasting love for my black border lol! and keep things simple (not even with my name!) :) Anyway I have posted this similar shot in BW a long while back. With candles and lightings everywhere, this basilica simply glitters with gold! In fact many parts of the surface seems to be gold painted or plated as well. Very impressive indeed! Btw if you are interested in artworks, this basilica houses a museum with creations by many prominent painters and sculptors including El Greco, Dalí, Picasso and more.
