Greater Scaup

Heading north out of Terlingua, Texas in Far West Texas. It was my first leg towards home on leaving Big Bend National Park. This is very remote country.

I had never seen a sign like this before and had to stop for it ;-) Terlingua is known for its annual Chili Cook-off in November. I'd really love to get there sometime for the Chili Festival and nearby Big Bend again.
