Seen here in Dunfremline bus station one of a small fleet that First created to compete with Stagecoach Fife.
Lothian have painted two of the former Volvo B5TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini Skylink buses into Lothian country green and cream. 577 (SJ67 MFU) is seen here at Edinburgh Waverley on service X18 to Whitburn.

Lothian Buses Skylink Volvo B5LH Gemini 577 turns out of Clermiston terminus with a Skylink service 200 bound for Edinburgh Airport.

I have a full LED screen after months of halves and this means I can document the new aeroplane sign that Lothian have introduced which I think is used to help the tourists get around. So here we see 21 month old skylink bus 577 on a service 400 to the Airport seen here at Colinton.
This bus was new to Lothian Buses as 577 in 2017.
Seen here haven just crossed the Forth Bridge, on the Queensferry Crossing experiance shuttle service, on the green route to one of the Edinburgh meeting points.
This bus is one of Lothian's new Gemini for the Skylink. It's currently unknown if they will replace the B7RLEs on the 200 or if a new route is to be introduced.
The faint, ephemeral glow emanating from the planetary nebula ESO 577-24 persists for only a short time — around 10,000 years, a blink of an eye in astronomical terms. ESO’s Very Large Telescope captured this shell of glowing ionised gas — the last breath of the dying star whose simmering remains are visible at the heart of this image. As the gaseous shell of this planetary nebula expands and grows dimmer, it will slowly disappear from sight. This stunning planetary nebula was imaged by one of the VLT’s most versatile instruments, FORS2. The instrument captured the bright, central star, Abell 36, as well as the surrounding planetary nebula. The red and blue portions of this image correspond to optical emission at red and blue wavelengths, respectively. An object much closer to home is also visible in this image — an asteroid wandering across the field of view has left a faint track below and to the left of the central star. And in the far distance behind the nebula a glittering host of background galaxies can be seen.
When Firstbus and Stagecoach fell out, they set up competing services against each other. Fifefirst was technically part of Lowland and sought to give Stagecoach Fife a hard time. P577DMS was captured in Cowdenbeath whilst heading for Dunfermline. At the time Stagecoach were still running Volvo B10M's with Alexander PS Type bodywork on these services, thus giving First an advantage with low-floor buses. Eventually common sense prevailed and the competition eased.
