Ryan Lochte takes pictures with fans in the VIP area as prelims continue, making it clear he was not swimming in any further prelims. He looked so tired. When he would pose for pictures, the familiar smile would come out, but as soon as the cameras were put away and the fans moved off, it was as if he powered down. It must be hard to push through the exhaustion in the middle of a training cycle.
