Am 3.6.2011 passierte 143 558 mit ihrer RB von Saalfeld/Saale nach Naumburg (Saale) Hbf die Ortschaft Rothenstein an der Saale. Leider ist das Motiv seit 2012 durch hochgewachsene Weiden nicht mehr umsetzbar.
Mit DGS 40561 waren 193 558 und 189 930 im Inntal unterwegs und konnten bei Niederaudorf abgelichtet werden.
Genau im Spotlight war die 193 558 von TXL mit einem KLV Zug vom Brenner unterwegs nach Verona. Aufgenommen wurde der Zug bei Novale, kurz hinter Gossensass.
Um halbwegs noch die Aktualität zu wahren gibts noch ein Bild von heute: die 193 558 von TXL ist hier mit einem Güterzug zwischen Kiefersfelden und Kufstein auf dem Weg nach Verona zu sehen. Ab Kufstein wurde die 193 555 "OFFROAD" noch vorgespannt.

Ein weiteres Bild der 139 558 mit ihrer Überführung der englischen Triebzüge entstand zwischen Donauwörth und Nördlingen. Zwischen zwei Fotowolken gelang bei Hoppingen ein Foto.
BNSF 558 is gliding over 22nd Ave in Minneapolis. They have a large train today and lights all the way to the Bluff yard. Ive seen many angles of this train on here but I'm happy with how this shot turned out. I didn't have much time and wanted to shoot it near my house in Minneapolis.
Nur sehr selten kommen die schicken Alpha Vectrons von TX Logistik auf der Donauachse zum Einsatz – deswegen umso erfreulicher, dass 193 558 mit der Aufschrift „Natural Talent“ Anfang Juli dem Osten Österreichs wiedermal einen Besuch abstattete. Mit dem TEC 43946 von Wien nach Wanne-Eickel konnte besagte Lok bei Linz Oed auf der Trauner Schleife fotografiert werden.

Built as NS 3558 in 1989 and retired in 2015 as NS 558, the NIWX 558, a GE B32-8, is the Davenport Industrial Railroad's engine of choice.
The engine is kept outside of the transload building behind a locked fence when the crew is not on-duty. I was on the property with permission.

Einheitslok 139 558 is in 1964 gebouwd door Krauss-Maffei in München-Allach en rolde uit de fabriek met het fabrieksnummer 19072. Op 26 januari 1965 werd ze afgenomen door de Deutsche Bundesbahn en ondergebracht in het depot Hannover, waar ze later het nummer E40 1558 kreeg. Om in het zuiden van Duitsland beter tot hun recht te komen op de steile hellingen en afdalingen van onder andere de Höllentalbahn, werden enkele locs van de Baureihe 140 uitgerust met andere remmen. Deze locs werden door de DB ondergebracht in de Baureihe E40.11, later werd dat Baureihe 139. Op deze foto’s staat de veteraan, inmiddels in dienst bij RailAdventure, in Bad Bentheim te wachten op de rem- en koppelwagens die retour moeten komen vanuit Nederland: eerder op de dag heeft de 139 558 een ICNG-stel afgeleverd, waarna het stel is overgebracht naar Zwolle. Later op de avond zal de loc met de emballagetrein (lees: rem- en koppelwagens) weer uit Bad Bentheim vertrekken.
Deutsch: die 139 558 aus dem Einheitslokprogramm wurde 1964 von Krauss-Maffei in München-Allach gebaut und verließ das Werk mit der Fabriknummer 19072. Am 26. Januar 1965 wurde sie von der Deutschen Bundesbahn übernommen und im Bahnbetriebswerk Hannover beheimatet, wo sie später die Nummer E40 1558 erhielt. Um die steilen Steigungen wie z. B. auf der Höllentalbahn in Süddeutschland besser bewältigen zu können, wurden einige Lokomotiven der Baureihe 140 mit anderen Bremsen ausgerüstet. Diese Lokomotiven wurden von der DB in die Baureihe E40.11 eingeordnet, später wurde daraus die Baureihe 139. Auf diesem Bild wartet die Veteranin im Dienste von RailAdventure in Bad Bentheim auf die Brems- und Kupplungswagen, die aus den Niederlanden zurückkehren müssen: früher am Tag lieferte die 139 558 einen ICNG-Triebwagen ab. Später am Abend wird die Lokomotive mit den Brems- und Kupplungswagen Bad Bentheim wieder verlassen.
BNSF 542 and 558 bring six empty center beams eastbound through Rogers. They'll do a couple hours of work at Osseo before making the run to Norhtown. Lots of new homes surround the area here and it would not surprise me if trees dominate this cool view of the tracks here. 542 went to shops so this pair has been split, but likely temporialy.
