The much publicized demise of the Pacers reminded me that once upon a time they sported the infamous "Jaffa Cake" livery.....
142014 (55555 + 55605) approaching Edale Station on 28/6/93 with a Manchester Piccadilly to Sheffield 'local' service.
A bizarre fungi, these can be found this time of year in north America and beyond. This one sprouted in the shade of an oak tree; it never gets full sun.

Angel Train Contracts Limited was renamed Angel Trains Limited on 16th May 2000, and 142014 was on lease to the North Western Trains Company Limited

Castleton East Junction signal box 36 signal (Down Main Home 3), along with 30 signal (Dn. Goods Loop Home 3) are carried on a London Midland & Scottish Railway Company designed two doll right hand bracket with an all-welded stem. The tubular post carrying 36 signal has a white diamond which indicates to the driver that his train is occupying a track circuit that indicates his presence to the signalman. Prior to the commissioning of the current signal box the bracket carried Castleton East Junction signal box's down section signals with Castleton Station signal box's distant signals below them. The distant signals were fitted at the level of the current signals with the section signals being much higher. The signals were decommissioned at 00:44 on 31st March 2013 in preparation for the replacement of absolute block working between Vitriol Works, Castleton East Junction and Rochdale West signal boxes by track circuit block working

The colours emanating from Yellowstone hot springs and geysers are a result of microbes, bacteria and algae forming in the different temperatures of the water. This in turn runs into Yellowstone Lake.

Sailing Stone coming towards me on the Racetrack dry lake in Death Valley (California)
This particular rock has not moved since at least 2007, based on other photos of it at the exact same location 4 years ago.
Sailing stones are rocks that move in long tracks on the smooth and perfectly flat surface of a dry lake, without human or animal intervention. The rocks are most likely propelled by strong winds while entrapped in floating ice sheets (or icebergs), after winter rains flooded the dry lake and made the mud soft and slippery.

142014 formed of 55555 and 55605 is seen at Cofton Loop on the rear of a Gascoigne Wood to Eastleigh Works ecs move (5Z43) along with classmates 142032 formed of 55573 and 55623 and also 142089 formed of 55739 and 55785. Big thanks to Mark Spirit 47555 for the heads up on this move.
142089 formed of 55739 and 55785 is seen at Cofton loop just south of Longbridge in Birmingham, at the head of a Gascoigne Wood to Eastleigh Works ecs move (5Z43) along with classmates 142032 formed of 55573 and 55623 and also 142014 formed of 55555 and 55605.
Looking through the back cab of a Manchester Piccadilly bound Buxton allocated class 108 dmu, seen in the centre road at Stockport (since lifted) is the new order of the day, a six car class 142 in the Greater Manchester PTE Orange/Brown livery which at the time matched the regions bus fleet.
Headed by 142014 (55555, 55605) the first fourteen units of the Class 142 fleet (142001-142014) were turned-out in this livery and all went new to Newton Heath Depot in Manchester in 1985, and today (May 2018) 142044 is still part of the Pacer fleet at Newton Heath.

89 signal (down main home to down Oldham), along with 95 signal (down main home), is carried on a two doll balanced bracket on tubular main stem. At the foot of the post with an arrow indicating to drivers that the signal applies to the Down Main line is 71 signal (down main to 18 signal), a London Midland & Scottish Railway Company 1941 type standard dwarf signal
The two doll balanced bracket signal was second hand, possibly having been moved from being used as Diggle Junction signal box's Up Main line home signal which was replaced by a two aspect colour light signal circa September 1982

De alleenstaande pastorie aan de Hamonterweg in Lozen, een gehucht van Bocholt, werd in neobarokke stijl gebouwd in 1886 naar ontwerp van de Nederlandse architect J. Kaijser (Venlo). Ze vormt samen met de parochiekerk en gemeenteschool één visueel geheel in het centrum van Lozen. In 2009 werd de pastorie, tezamen met de gemeenteschool en de Sint-Benedictuskerk beschermd als monument.

N647D: C/n 38955583, ex Yugoslav AF 13021, USAAF 44-90438. Displayed in the Yugoslav Aeronautical Museum at Belgrade until 1984, when it was acquired by Warbirds of GB and moved to Bitteswell. This little pullback tractor is an alternate build to 42034 Quad Bike using 142/148 parts from the model.
Sadly the technic figures are not included in the set but I really recommend getting some used ones. They upgrade each technic set in the right size ratio.
