Ein Besuch im Maintal lohnt sich immer mal. Dieses Mal in Form von Br 193 554, der Leitwolf von TX Logistik zog am vergangenen Freitag mit einem KLV nach Lübeck an der Felswand in Karlstadt vorbei.

Xelabus 554 (J12 XEL) photographed at Ryde Interchange before it set off on a rail replacement service on the 26th of October 2023. The end 'bays' by the footbridge were always difficult to photograph anything that was parked up, but they are no more with the revised layout. This wide shot shows much of the new layout, and I had to get a hovercraft in the shot of course!

Nu met het koude weer, denken we nog graag even terug aan die heerlijke zomer.
Aan het einde van die zomer brachten wij een fijne vakantie door in de Belgische streek Entre Sambre et Meuse. Op de heenweg werd de chauffeurswissel voorzien tussen Maastricht en Luik.
Ik had daarbij goede hoop de wissel te kunnen combineren met een foto van de sinds de zomer 2024 rijdende 'Drielandentrein' van Arriva. Bij Maastricht Randwijck zagen we deze al rijden en Karin had hem ter hoogte van Eijsden al ingehaald.
Zo hoefde ik bij Argenteau niet lang te wachten op de doorkomst van Arriva's 554 die als 'Drielandentrein' onderweg was van Aachen HBF via Heerlen - Maastricht naar Liège Guillemins.
Stel 554 is een Flirt van het type IIImc; ze is multicourant en kan rijden onder bovenleiding met 1.500 V in Nederland, met 3.000 V in België en 15 kV 16,7 Hz in Duitsland. Arriva heeft een 8-tal van deze Flirt IIImc's voor deze dienst beschikbaar.

It’s not to often this beast gets to stretch its legs but this week is one of those weeks. With snow building up it was tasked with flanging throughout the Ramore, Devonshire and Kirkland Lake subdivisions. Pictured here we have Wedge plow #554 paired with 1730 throwing a good snow shower through the small community of Val Gagné located at mile 78 of the Ramore Sub.
Stabling our vehicles overnight at the Plymouth Citybus depot in June 2021 provided the opportunity to have a quick look around and the chance to grab some record shots of the current Plymouth fleet.
