Der Alpen-Express Den Haag-Bludenz wird in der aktuellen Saison von SBB Cargo International Lokomotiven bespannt. Am 08.02. war die von Südleasing angemietete 193 519 vor DRV 1389 gespannt und konnte nahe Roppen abgelichtet werden.

Des rames régionales en trafic intercité... Deux "Desiro" de la SNCB assurent un IC Luxembourg - Bruxelles de milieu d'après-midi, qui vient de traverser la frontière entre le Luxembourg et la Belgique et va franchir, dans quelques secondes, la zone de séparation 25 kV / 3 kV.
Vandaag (18-6-2022) reed de Arbeitsgemeinschaft Westfalendampf een sonderzug vanuit Menden (Sauerland) tot Munster met een V200 van de Hammer Eisenbahnfreunde e. V. en vanaf Munster naar Norderney met de 01 519 van Eisenbahnfreunde Zollernbahn.
Bij Bernte/Emsbüren werd de stoomtrein opgewacht en vastgelegd.

A rather goofy mixed lashup, consisting of METX 519 and 413 pulling the 2617 out of North Glenview. At least the locomotive I wanted to see was leading but would've been extra cool if they were both SD70MACHs if it had to be a double header.

Amtrak Dash 8 #519 takes the lead of the Cardinal once again, this time leading the front of the Beech Grove Segment of 51 at Lafayette Junciton in Lafayette, Indiana. It was a neat opportunity to capture them in one of the first snowfalls of the year, and a very productive week on the Monon Sub for Dash 8s! (2/13/25).
It’s winter time meaning a lot of the new ALC-42s Amtrak has recently purchased have been facing lots of issues in their first time in the extreme cold. 51 a few days before this picture was cancelled after this charger in the photo died in West Virginia and had to get CSX help to make it the rest of the way to Indianapolis, from there they spun the train set and ran 50 to DC with 33 year old P32-8BWH #519 leading. Luckily enough, they decided to also send this unit back leading all the way from DC. This probably is the first time in years a Dash 8 has led over such a long distance before and not a beech grove move, pictured here departing Lafayette Station in Lafayette, Indiana on 51 (2/10/25).
Amtrak’s Cardinal #51 glides into downtown Lafayette with one of the craziest lashups this train has ever seen. Leading are two P32-8BWH “Dash 8s” #519 and #512 on the head end, and a F40PH Carbody NPCU #90222 third out. This consist feels like total jump back in time to the 90s where Dash 8/F40 lashups were a common sight as new GE technology was being tested throughout the Amtrak system. This is probably my top catch in my 3.5 year stint in Indiana so far, and without a doubt something that will probably never occur again on Amtrak (9/12/24).

Da dicembre 2019, e poi giugno 2020, è passato ad una composizione a quattro pezzi con carrozze in livrea ICsun, ad una composizione reversibile a otto pezzi.
In foto, una composizione "tradizionale" arriva in stazione a Torino Lingotto, trainata dalla E.444.096.
The Intercity 519 Turin-Genoa was the last intercity train featuring old livery coaches and hauled by an E444 locomotive. Since december 2019, and then june 2020, it has changed from new livery intercity coaches, to an 8 coaches shuttle composition, as it has become normality for italian intercity trains.
In the picture, a "traditional" composition with 4 coaches arrives at Turin Lingotto station, hauled by the E.444.096

Eine legendäre Schnellzugdampflokomotive der Baureihe 01.5, genauer gesagt 01 519 der Eisenbahnfreunde Zollernbahn führte mehrere Sonderfahrten in Teilen Oberfrankens und der Oberpfalz durch, u.a. auch über die sog. "schiefe Ebene" nahe Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg. Mit dem DZ 79630 von Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg nach Hof Hbf über Bayreuth Hbf, Kirchenlaibach und Mrktredwitz am Haken durchfährt das Prachtstück den Haltepunkt Immenreuth.
