Im Elbtal verkehren regelmäßig Gaskesselzüge die von Locon gefahren werden, als Zuglok kommt dabei meist der, nun bereits seit über einem Jahr, von Hectorrail angemietete Taurus 242 517 zum Einsatz. Am 9ten April hatte "Fitzgerald" einen dieser Gaskesselzüge in Bad Schandau übernommen und bringt diesen nun in Richtung Dresden. Leider dauerte es länger als erwartet bis sich der Zug auf den Weg machte, so entstand nur ein besseres Sichtungsbild am Haltepunkt "Obervogelgesang".
Sosta in un binario di servizio all'interno del deposito di Trenord di Iseo (BS) per il "Treno dei Sapori", convoglio adibito alla degustazione dei cibi del territorio viaggiando sulla sponda del Lago d'Iseo sino a Pisogne (BS). Il treno è composto dalla locomotiva Cne 517, un bagaglio e da due vetture allestite a ristorante.
Stop at a service platform inside the Trenord depot of Iseo (BS) for the "Train of Flavors", a convoy used for tasting local foods traveling on the shore of Lake Iseo up to in Pisogne (BS). The train is made up of the Cne 517 locomotive, one piece of luggage and two cars set up as a restaurant.

Printed on Fomabrom Variant 112 and developed in Moersch Easy Lith.

Washi F is a Fluoroscopic X-ray Orthocromatic film without anti-halation layer for mainly lung diagnostics re-spooled by Washi. So looking forward to some halos here.
I also think that this film has a lovely grain.
This was a "long shot". I don't think I've ever made a lith print on this paper before. But great fun to try :-). Became very "yellowish" (including paper base). 25+ min developing time.
"Things that'll never happen for 1000 Alex" is how I would classify catching CWRY #517 (CF-7), CWRY #444 (GP-16), CWRY #1552 (SW1500) pulling stacks in the 2010's. Thankfully I was able to catch some of these moves before CWRY started using class 1 power and the tracks were moved between the highway (VA-164).

Amtrak Cardinal #51 arrives in Lafayette with one of the most mixed Beech Grove moves I have ran into so far at the head end. Leading the consist is Dash 8 #517, and following right behind it is a fresh Phase VII. Making up for four different Amtrak paint schemes in total across the locomotives and rolling stock in this lashup (4/29/24).
