The "new" blue lady of Euroengineering - 46 515 (ex-romanian class 40) captured at Kremikovtsi station near Sofia with a freight train towards Serbia. Despite that the loco has been overhauled recently it has some problems, the air compressor broke down so they have to use the diesel loco for air supply till the rest of the journey. Euroengineering is expanding its locomotive fleet, this is the second electric locomotive class 46 which they acquire. Unfortunately the first one (46 625) has been heavily damaged in a fire a few months ago and as far as I understood, it won't be repaired. Still the main traction for the company are the diesel locomotives class 07 (ex-DB class 233).
On the right side of the photo is Smartron 80 063 of Rail Cargo Carrier resting between duties.

I see from the Swiss correspondents that about half of the new Stadler Capricorn EMUs have entered service.
So now the funky Pendelzug Be 4/4 railcar sets from the early 1970s have also been withdrawn from service.

So eine Häuserzeile wie diese hier an der Vohwinkelstraße in Duisburg-Mittelmeiderich bot immer hervorragende akustische Bedingungen für das markante Heulen der ETA 515 (im Bild Nr. 604), die bis Anfang der 1990er Jahre zwischen OB Hbf und Du-Ruhrort pendelten. Die Gleise im Vordergrund gehörten zum ehemaligen Güterbahnhof Ruhrort, der zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme schon Geschichte war (Scan vom Dia, durch Vergeßlichkeit war die Verschlußzeit falsch eingestellt).
