FM 511 interior FM 511 showing the conductors mirrors stripped while it was in the playground of the Exhibition grounds. The polished walnut of this classy batch of trams is evident. The 'R' under the number denoted it had resilient wheels. When originally placed in service, the trams built after 510 had chrome bumpers, chrome conductors bell brackets, brass conductors bells, brass Motormans gongs, all class. The sign above the passenger entry explains the unique advertising which had been attached to the centre fluroescent light covers, which are at the BTM.
