A little over a year into operations for the then-new Grand Rapids Eastern, GR #5106 sits outside of the engine house at Fuller Yard in Grand Rapids. #5106 was built as B&O #4806 in September of 1970, later becoming CSXT #2106. RailTex purchased what remained of the former GTW Grand Rapids Subdivision from the Central Michigan Railway in 1993 and formed the GRE. The Geep would later become GR #3839 after RailAmerica purchased RailTex, and today works for G&W as the MMRR #2057.
