Bevor es den Anschein erweckt, dass ich nur noch in der Schweiz fotografiere gibt es als kleinen "Zwischeneinschub" ein Foto von heute von der Strecke München-Rosenheim. Der IC 2083 wurde heute von der 182 509 bespannt was mich dazu veranlasste ein Foto in Hilperting zu machen. Kurz vor dem Ausläufer der Regenfront gelangte mit interessanter Wolkenstimmung ein Foto des bunten Taurus.
La Br186-509, attualmente in uso a BLS Cargo, è qui ripresa tra Reichenbach e Frutigen al traino di uno shuttle intermodale proveniente da Geelen Lutterade e diretto a Gallarate.
BLS Br186-509 is seen here twisting the curves between Reichenbach and Frutigen, on the Lötschberg line, whilst working a southbound intermodal service from Geelen Lutterade to Gallarate.
Mit ihrem auffälligem Design war 193 509 "LTG Cargo Polska", hier im Einsatz für Frachtbahn, mit einem Routier/Filip-KLV bei Plattling unterwegs.

Mit einem Kesselzug war die LTG Polska 193 509 für Frachtbahn bei Darshofen auf der KBS 880 zu sehen.
Die für Hectorrail fahrende 182 509 ist an einem warmen Frühsommertag bei Hermannspiegel an der Nord-Süd-Strecke mit Neuwagen unterwegs nach Süden.
Assurant un train de VW neufs pour le Sud, la 182 509 louée par la société suédoise Hectrorrail passe sur la NSS, la ligne Nord-Sud connue pour son traffic fret de grande envergure.
Am Vormittag des 25. August 2013 passiert 115 509, mit ihrer Beklebung für das Jubiläum von DB Autozug, in wenigen Metern den Haltepunkt Rambin auf Rügen. Der IC kam aus Ostseebad Binz, das Ziel kann ich heute nicht mehr sagen, aber es muss sich um einen saisonal verkehrenden IC handeln.

The Chicago Short Line once again backs its train over the Calumet River at CP 509 to get back to its yard at South Chicago after interchanging with the BRC at Commercial Avenue. The CSL originally used the ex-B&O bridge to cross the Calumet River and reach the Belt until 1988 when a Greek salty mangled and destroyed the bridge's span. Today, the CSL has to zig-zag across the ex-PRR bridge at 509 to reach Commercial Avenue from its own rails due to the lack of a direct crossover.
The right-of-way I am standing on was part of the PRR Cummings Branch which was removed sometime in the 1970s. In the background are the three-and-a-half remaining railroad bridges over the Calumet River at 509 and the Skyway Toll Bridge, all of which were featured in the Blues Brothers.
