We were succesful in fending off the Droids on Christophsis, but not without a cost. We lost one man and two more got injured. They gave us replacements from the Third Regiment to fill in the missing manpower needed for our next mission.
The next mission was on Teth. We have to aid General Skywalker and the 501st Legion in the rescue of a relative of Jabba The Hutt who got kidnapped by Separatist Forces and who are holding him in a monastery. Our part in the rescue mission was to disable a large Ion canon that the Separatists had placed on a second monastery not far away from the one the Hutt is kept in.
We have to make sure the Ion canon gets destroyed before General Skywalker and his troops arrive or there mission will be short lived!
The monastery is located on a large rock formation above the clouds and only accessibly via air. We choose to use high altitude jetpacks to get to the monastery.
VICTORY!
We were able to destroy the Ion Canon! The 501st is clear to enter the planet surface. The enemy didn’t expect our attack and didn’t know where to shoot first. We managed to catch them by surprise by flying up the mountain on the south-west corner. First we had to take down the turbo lasers and droid forces stationed on the monastery’s walls before we could destroy the Ion Canon. Not an easy task, but we managed to complete our mission!

New 253rd build! I really enjoyed building this, the mountain was a pain in the ass at times but I'm glad with how it turned out! I really liked to build the monastery part though!
I hope you enjoy the MOC!
""What I remember about the rise of the Empire is… is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the 501st Legion was discreetly transferred back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip; we all knew what was about to happen, what we were about to do. Did we have any doubts? Any private traitorous thoughts? Perhaps, but no one said a word. Not on the flight back to Coruscant, not when Order 66 came down, and not when we marched into the Jedi Temple. Not a word."

The boys in blue.
Last post before I get swamped in school work, see you guys in November.
Yep. After seeing the "Darkness on Umbara" preview, I just had to make one of these guys. c:
Brickdoctor, I tagged you because I know you're the AT-Rt expert, so if you have a moment, could I please have a little feedback? And MGF, I thought you'd like this, since I can tell you're so excited for Umbara. :3
Shot capturing Lord Vader and his 501st Clone Troopers from my latest build coming soon. Really enjoyed taking this shot and loved utilizing the Light My Bricks lightsaber light pack.
If you like this, consider tapping the fave button ever so slightly and if you’re feeling like doing a bit extra, follow me here. Thanks!

Rogue1 brought the SW hype and so many figs were created but we'll start with TCW and end with TFA.
Yeah some Clones... ok not just some clones the chiefs of their Battalions.
As seen in the Umbara Saga, and now recreated into LEGO! Made with a TCF P2 ARF Trooper helmet (originally made by Commdr_Neyo).
I re-watched the Umbara Saga for some good reference pics and found out that there are extra lines along the legs of the ARF troopers (I'm guessing they're openings in the armor for more flexibility), so I was sure to include those details. I managed to get the blue stripe on the helmet to cover the bottom, front, and top of the visor, getting that extra detail in!
Sadly, this fig will not be for sale due to the fact that I only have 2 of these helmets. Let me know what you think, if you fave, drop a comment in too please!
Renowned for their bravery and unconventional tactics, the 501st participated in historic conflicts from the Battle of Christophsis to the Siege of Mandalore.

Arealight Printed Helmets
Fineclonier (WIP) decals
Here is Arealight's new "Trooper" helmets with a good chunk of the recognizable 501st troops: Tup, Hardcase, Jesse, Kix, Dogma and of course a couple sacrificial generic troopers. Fineclonier has conjured up these decals and they are a great compliment to the printed pieces. I showcased these decals a while back with Arealight's printed open-faced Commander helmets came out. Hopefully they will be on his site for purchase soon.
Weird Wars 2 Showcase
The Path-finder is the 501s favoured tool for dealing with "Zombie" infestations.
This heavily armored mech has a single armament of a swivel mounted flame projector.
It also has a complex sensor array used for the detection and destruction of land mines. Once detected scattershot ball bearings are fired from within the apparatus.
Some have been retro fitted with stretchers to remove casualties from hot zones.
The mech can simply walk through the normally deadly zombies either stomping them or incinerating them as the operator sees fit.

Okay, well it's not all of them but it's a serious chunk!
When Arealight began producing the printed helmets for the 501st, Kam decided he wanted to produce decals for each respective figure. He completely revamped his armor design to resemble the Clone Wars TV series a little better. He even went as far as to design helmet decals for a few of the troopers that Arealight isn't printing! I'll be posting individual shots of all these guys soon. Tell us what you think!
Printed Arealight Helmets
Fineclonier 'WIP' decals.
*There has been some confussion as to why the decals I've been posting aren't available on Fineclonier's website yet. These are WORKS in PROGRESS... meaning he's not doen with them yet. Oncehe's happy with how they look and the level of detail he will be putting them on his website for everyone!
“This is Jag of the 501st and the day we feared has come. We were given the order just incase, but it seemed today we needed to act on it. The day started off like any other in this war with the exception that we were making our move on key Separatist installations and home-worlds. One small detachment of the 501st was sent to Cularin. A dense jungle and river like terrain covered the entire planet. Our orders were given out from Admiral Perkins that the planet had sided with the Seps and we were the most fit to snuff out the insurgents and take control of the key city, Bollin. We thought the job would be easy, but the natives were smart. They knew where to hide. Our advantage : firepower. Instead of taking the jungle areas by foot and risking the loss of a significant amount of men, Perkins ordered our batteries to fire on the planet. Meanwhile we prepared for our ground assault amongst the ruins. Getting on the planet was much easier. Our fleet took out large areas of jungle which created a clearing for our gunships to land. Within a few days, the situation was resolved and the insurgents were dealt with. Now was the time for our new enemy, the Jedi General Fen Roku. When the order was given, he knew before we could even turn around and take aim. One by one he came after us. I took my rifle and held him back till reinforcements could arrive, but by then the coward had fled into the jungle. Never to be seen. Our scouts and patrols tried finding him, but it was too late.
This MOC is my entry into the reformed Dark Times RPG which you can now find on Flickr AND Instagram! Be sure to follow there and tell me what you think.

"We can't just leave them, sir!"
-Kix
It's been a while, sorry for the inactivity. Things have been really busy lately with school.
Anyways, to add to our 501st series, here's Kix! Being one of my favorite clones, I put a lot of detail into him, especially the stripe that wraps around his leg. I tried my best with the battle damage here, and I think it turned out all right ~ I managed to get the blue markings on his arms and leg to wrap all the way around, so it has a really nice effect!
Well anyways, as always, expect more, and comments speak louder than faves! I'd really like to hear your feedback on this one since he's one of my favorites.
