Wollensak Cine Anastigmat 25mm f1.5 for 16mm cine cameras is one of those beautiful small lenses that may surprise you with IQ and coverage of the sensor. With C adapter it will cover nicely APS-C cropped sensor.

Here I put it on full frame Nikon z5 with 10mm helicoid extension. I did not crop any part of the image and very little PP is done. Only small WB ajustements.

For wild bokeh lovers this leans is beauty.

Limes are super cheap right now - 8 for $1 so we have been obsessing about making fresh limeade with mint. So yummy!

We use a ratio of 1/1/5 for lime juice/sugar/water. Add a little lime zest and mint and you've got yourself a very refreshing drink.

My pink Dahlias' first day of full bloom, a beauty to behold, so I took the image with my Lensbaby Twist 60mm f2.5 for some added bokeh drama, hoping you all have a Dahlia to grace your garden :)

“For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps, who committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth; and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to him who judges righteously; and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.” (Peter 2:21-25)

With the train crawling to exit a PSO of 10 mph at MP 36.5 for trains running over 7000 tonnes, A46921-08 reaches the end of the 1.9% uphill grade that started at MP 36 and is just about to enter the 3 miles long 1.9%-2.0% downhill descent between MP 35 and 32.5 on CN's infamous Lac St-Jean subdivision. The stretch between Hervey-Jct and Rivière-à-Pierre is notoriously known for ripping trains apart. Today's 469 is running with engines CN 3233 and 3005 and has a respectable 12 049tons and 7695ft on the headpin, helped by remotes CN 3911 and 3411 placed at mid-train.

Galatians 5:1

American Standard Version

5 For freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage.

This one had some better timed light painting ... while my daughter and I were there in the dark this was using an LED light off to the right.

The issue was she was shooting the 60D with the Canon 10/22 lens at f3.5 for 30 seconds ... and I was shooting the Sigma 14mm at f1.8 for 15 seconds. The light painting was too strong for my exposure but about right for hers, or vice versa if good for my exposure and not enough for hers.

We quickly adapted with the light painting where we would start our exposures at the same time, I would turn the LED light on for about 1 to 3 seconds for my exposure, and then turn it off ... wait until my 15 second shot ended, and then lit up the elements again while her exposure continued on for the 30 seconds. That usually resulted in the same amount of light painting desired for each of our exposures.

We got this down pretty good as the night continued to darken.

White balance here is cloudy as shot with the RAW file, giving the warmer hues in the early night.

Even in his 'beach camo' winter plumage, this male Snow Bunting is a striking and particularly white example.

I have been using the very light and sharp Nikon 400mm 4.5 for these shots after recently buying the 2x TC. From previous experience a 2x doesn't work well on many lenses - and really needs to be paired with a good prime. It makes crawling around on the beach almost enjoyable.

Designed by Kamiya Satoshi

Folded by me

Paper : 1m ??cm

My first thought was , 'There's ver.3.5 for both of Phoenix and Ryuzin by him, but why not Bahamut?'

So I started designing the version 3.5 of the model Bahamut(took me weeks..little by little..)

I used really thin Kraft paper and the size was.. well, I'm definitely sure it was longer than 1m.

Why so long? I first intended to fold the version in Final Fantasy 10, but the thing is that the paper was too thin to maintain the round shape on the back. So even though I got the flaps to fold the round one on its back, after folding it I just hid the flaps.

I used inner-grafting to make the legs and arms more longer and the resulting layers were used to fold scales on its tale and abdomen. The resulting layers from the flaps of the round part(that was eventually hidden) were pulled out to make the wing.

Anyways, hope you guys like it! :D

Just as the shadow of a cloud causes the heat to subside, so he causes the song of tyrants to cease.”

Voigtländer Macro APO-Lanthar 110mm 2.5

For Macro Photography you need to take you good time, find the right angle and try as good as you can to get the best possible sharpness at the right spot, here I chose the big red "dot" to focus on, not the front tip, but just behind the tip. It is by far best to use a real Macro Lens with MANUAL focusing, the Lens must have a long throw, then it is much easier to focus, do the first focus with the Lens and then you can move yourself a slightly bit back and forth until you nail the focus just where you want it to be. Be aware of how the background and the foreground looks like, use a larger aperture if it is too disturbing or get another angle. For this photo image I was laying flat to the ground to be able to get this shot, it is just about 1:1 Learn more about Photography and share your experience and thoughts here www.flickr.com/groups/14888770@N23/

This camera, the Seagull 4A103, is a copy of the German Rolleicord; like the latter, it is an SLR camera with two lenses. It is designed for 12 pictures with 120 film in 6 x 6 format and was built by the Shanghai Camera Factory in China. Looking older than it is, this model dates back to the seventies. It is fully mechanical and has no light meter. It has a Haiou 75mm ƒ/2.8 Tessar style lens for image viewing and a Haiou 75mm ƒ/3.5 for exposure. It has a bright, large viewfinder and the film is transported via a crank. It works well, and I have a nice little matching leather case with it, which also contains various accessories such as filters and special lenses for using the Seagull in telephoto mode. It's really smart and is always admired when used outside, Quite often I've been asked about the details!

We learn at:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Patrick's_Blue

St. Patrick's Blue is officially the colour which appears on the Irish Presidential Standard (i.e. the flag of the President of Ireland) and the Coat of arms of Ireland. It also appears in the part of the Royal coat of arms of the United Kingdom representing Northern Ireland.

This blue and gold colour scheme is said to represent "the Ancient Colours of Ireland" [4] and are the colours also found on the coat of arms of "the Ancient City of Dublin" and the Flag of Munster (which evolved from the coat of arms of the Lordship of Ireland). The Flag of Connacht prominently features blue as well.

As the colours of University College Dublin, the blue and yellow scheme is officially called "St Patrick's Blue and Saffron" and is featured prominently on the institution's coat of arms. They are the original colours of the Catholic University of Ireland and date back to the inception of the College in the 1840s. The colours are used by various sports teams at the university such as such the University College Dublin Rowing Club[5]. For the fencing club at University College Dublin, the blue chosen as their St. Patrick's Blue is "Pantone 295", the same shade of blue as that is used on the pennant of the President of Ireland.[6]

Badge of the Most Illustrious Order of St Patrick. The statutes of the Order prescribed a sky blue riband; the exact shade of blue used varied over time.

Badge of the Most Illustrious Order of St Patrick. The statutes of the Order prescribed a sky blue riband; the exact shade of blue used varied over time.

A group of Sea Scouts associated with St. Patrick's Church in Dalkey near Dublin Port describes their troop neckerchief as "red with a St. Patrick's Blue border."[7]

The Irish Guards, an Irish regiment of the British Army, wear a plume of St. Patrick's Blue in their bearskins. The guards also wear a cap ornament depicting the eight-pointed star of the Most Illustrious Order of St Patrick.[8] Although the last surviving knight died in 1974, the order technically still exists. Knight of the order wore a blue mantle lined with white silk and a blue velvet hat. The ribbands of the order were blue as well.[9][10]

[edit] St. Patrick's Day green

Green, the colour most widely associated with Ireland, with Irish people, and with St. Patrick's Day in modern times, may have become gained its prominence through the phrase "the wearing of the green" meaning to wear a shamrock on one's clothing. At many times in Irish history to do so was seen as a sign of Irish nationalism or loyalty to the Roman Catholic faith. St. Patrick used the shamrock, a three-leaved plant, to explain the Holy Trinity to the pre-Christian Irish.[11] The change to Ireland's association with green rather than blue was probably begun around the 1750s.[12]

I've been doing this long enough that nice finds don't surprise me too much, but even I was shocked to see this. I didn't even try to count how many were here, including unis, scrapped, etc, but it must have been at least 30. There were more that you can't see in the photo. This is definitely in my all-time top 5 for the number of finds in one small area.

I paid my daughter $5 for this photo shoot.

I think it was value for money - I got about 4 shots that I am happy with. Not a bad hourly rate for a 9 year old as it only took 10 minutes!

Voigtländer Nokton 50mm f1.5 for Prominent camera.

I tried Nik FX software for this one. It is easier to use than Darktable, but more difficult to have fine control over the image.

Aniway, some final touches were done in Darktable.

The first night of the weekend was exceptionally clear, I had thought about going into Goblin Valley to do some shooting, but figured since I shot in the park last year I'd try and find a new composition to shoot this year. This large rock formation is literally right next to the highway so I decided to stop here and take some shots. First thing that happened? Headlamp broke. Then my compass broke, lol, inauspicious start to say the least. Luckily @spencerbawdenphotography decided to meet up with me and he had a spare headlamp I could use for the weekend. We both had some led light panels so we used them to illuminate the rocks and started shooting.

This is a 15 shot pano, 10 for the sky, 5 for the foregrpund, all taken back to back with my Nikon D600 (full spectrum modified) and Sigma Art 35mm lens on a Sky Watcher Star Adventurer tracking mount. Sky shots were 1 minute exposures at f2 and ISO 1600, foreground exposures were 2 minute exposures at ISO 800 and f2.

It's dark and raining so it's time for some macro...

Number 5 for 52 in 2018 : Fall

With a bit of Topaz filter.

Ive been tagged by Kitty Sanchez to say sixteen aspect of me. I just realize this is not as easy as i thought.

Aqui voy:

8. No me gusta la playa, me da sueño. Voy únicamente por presión social.

9. Quisiera vivir en otro país.

10. Sueño todos los días con tener hijos, y les tengo los nombres desde hace muchos años.
