Lighting setup diagram for test photo shoot with a co-worker who has a good face for leaving all the wrinkles and maybe enhance them a bit, both with lighting and also in post processing.

Lighting Info
My idea with this lighting setup was to have light from four directions not leaving anything for reflector, just using flash. And to try to lift the shadows on his left side of the face so the features would be well defined on that side too.
Main light: a Profoto Compact in a 150 cm (8ft) Octabox with the center at the top of his head, aimed just in front of the face.
The fill comes from about 50 or 60 centimeters height, one Profoto AcuteB 600R on lowest possible setting fitted with a shoot thru umbrella (a little dot in his eyes).
From behind, two rim lights in different light modifiers, his right side is lit with a beauty dish for more contrast, and the left side with a softer soft box.
He was standing in front of a white background paper, about 1.5 meter away.
Developed in Nikon Capture NX2 and some minor adjustments made in Photoshop, nothing more.

Profoto AcuteB 600R in a 150 cm (5 foot) Softbox Octa above model on a boom stand, a silver reflector below and two more lights as rim/hair lights. And a last one on the grey paper background. Together with a lot of reflectors and flags.
All lights on their respective lowest setting so I could use aperture f/3.2.
Shot in my small studio with a Nikon D700 and the usual 85mm/1.4 lens, developed in Nikon Capture NX2 and Lightroom, and some adjustments in Photoshop.

I had to reschedule one of my shoots because I woke up with the flu. I felt it coming on Friday and I was hoping it would go away.
Anyway, being sick let me do another selfie. This one isn't my favorite composition wise, but it let me really challenge myself on the lighting. I've been trying to pay a lot more attention to shadows and incorporating them into the shot.
As always comments and feedback are greatly appreciated!
Lighting info:
- 4 light set up
- ab400 in the camera left upstairs window on full with a shoot through
- ab800 in the camera right upstairs window at 1/2 with a shoot through
- ab1600 behind the wall on the main floor on full with a silver reflective and a red gel to light the slider and little window
- 430exII on the fence behind me at 1/8 for rim and to throw the shadow onto the wall.

A standard single pen log house, relocated twice; once, in 1870, to 145 Willow Street, and again, in the 1990s, to its present site.
The book No Place Like Home: A History of Domestic Architecture in Springfield and Clark County, Ohio contains much information about the house:
When first rebuilt in 1870, the original front side was turned to the back, a new door was cut and, beside it, a long, Victorian window was created. . . . A third window had been cut into the remaining blank side. . . . During disassembly, one board with wooden pins was recovered from the original doorway and one board with holes for pins from the original window frame. . . . The fireplace had been eliminated after the 1870 move as most people were cooking on iron kitchen ranges by that time. Traces of interior whitewashing also became apparent during the plaster removal.
