On Saturday the 11th of April 1992 at 8:00pm, ITV broadcast The Grand Opening of Euro Disney; a live TV special that finally unveiled the new £2.2 billion resort to the public. Despite some initial financial problems, Disneyland Park is now the 6th most visited theme park in the World, beating Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney California Adventure and Universal's Islands of Adventure in recent attendance reports!
2012 marks the 20th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris. As an homage to the resort, I decided to recreate the original Grand Opening logo from scratch, in Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 at 3840 x 2160 resolution. I intentionally decided to work at 4K Ultra HD resolution in contrast to the poor resolution of the original logo, which can only be found on VHS in 4:3. As @JornJokker said on Twitter, what I've made is "high-def nostalgia"!

Star Tours: The Adventures Continue is rumoured to be coming to Disneyland Paris in 2017, in time for the 25th Anniversary.
I like recreating graphics related to Disney theme park attractions. So, in this case, I took a screenshot of the Star Tours: The Adventures Continue logo, from one of Disney's promo videos for the ride. I then rebuilt it completely from scratch, in Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 at 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160). Finally I added some French text, and the year of opening.
