Lock Keeper's House, Lock 48, Rochdale Canal at Littleborough. (foot of the pennines, UK)
Here the Canal traverses the Pennine hills via a series of Locks, Leading eventually to Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire.
The Canal is 32 miles from Manchester to Sowerby Bridge.

Took this photo using my newer macro lens attachments.. & shot in manual mode (this is all I do now, yay!) And I have many other shots that I loved, but this has to be my favorite! I love the focus on the flower center and the details. The cheerful spring colors.
This flower was photographed in my garden.. which is blooming so beautifully this year!
I'm excited, we're getting our riding lawn mower TODAY! We have a pretty large yard (double lot) and we've been cutting the grass with double mowers. (one each). This will help us out so much! So I told Juan I want to go buy a weedwhacker today so we can do the whole yard! *I can't wait*. It needs it. We put off doing the lawn mowing a few extra days because we knew we were getting our riding mower.. So it's REALLY needed right now! lol That's what we're doing tonight! Yay! It'll be so much easier!

I am looking forward to next week's photo shoot ! I'm doing some really magical product photography for someone VERY CREATIVE & talented! I can't wait to post the photos! & I can't wait to show ya'll what she's created! (It's sooo amazing!!)
I am taking her photos for her advertising & then maybe the following week we're going to do her business portraits (since we're kind of strapped for time at the moment). But I just KNOW these photos are going to be amazing! I know HER PRODUCT IS AMAZING!!
She always amazes me, every time... she's so darned talented!
I'm her # 1 fan.. & she is mine!

The last few days have been sunny and so cold. Baker always finds the sunny spots to watch the world go by.
This tiny daisy had managed to plant itself in the middle of the grass in front of our letter box.
So now, it is having a good drink before I find it a better home.

Day 48, day 2 in Anglesey, this is the first shot I am happy with using my new Lee Big Stopper filter. Taken on Rhosneiger beach.

Sinds 2021 is Trenitalia met haar hogesnelheidstreinen van het type ETR 1000 actief tussen Parijs en Milaan, hiermee is het voor SNCF de eerste concurrentie op de HSL. De treinen rijden in een (naar mijn mening) erg fraaie rood/grijs/zwarte huisstijl, de naam Frecciarossa staat voor ‘rode pijl’, Trenitalia gebruikt deze merknaam voor hogenslheidstreinen die 300 km/h rijden. Een aantal treinstellen hebben tevens een Franse, Italiaanse en Europese vlag als toevoeging. Op 3 mei had ik het geluk deze uitvoering te treffen, ETR 1000 nummer 48 is van Paris gare de Lyon onderweg naar Milano Centrale en passeert daarbij om 10:27 met een snelheid van zo’n 300 kilometer per uur het gehucht Santigny, in Bourgogne.
