Vanwege de bekende werkzaamheden in Duitsland rijden de treinen die grensovergang Emmerich gebruiken om via Venlo. Ook in 2018 reed de ICE bijna 1,5 maand om via die route. Alhoewel de trein snel genoeg is en geen stops onderweg had moest deze snelle trein volgens de heilige planregels in Geldermalsen 5 minuten aan de kant voor het passeren van de belangrijke ETMET IC. Op 16 mei 2018 deed ICE4607 dit ook en maakte een opvallende stop langs het toen nog lange perron op spoor 4B ipv spoor 6. We zien het stel hier door de wissels slingeren als ICE159 naar Frankfurt am Main vanaf de loopbrug die inmiddels ook is verdwenen evenals de meeste sporen op de voorgrond.

Vanwege werkzaamheden bij Emmerich reden de ICE-treinen dit weekend om via Venlo. Voordat de lege kalktrein richting Jemelle moest komen, zien we in een heerlijk ochtendzonnetje de ICE 4607 als trein 255 naar Basel Hbf op 24 maart 2019 ter hoogte van Tricht.

This intriguing species makes an umbel of five flowers surrounding a central capsule that develops directly from a bud without making a flower. We don't know yet whether seed will develop in this capsule.

Note 1 - This can be easily seen looking north ...real north, not freeway north, from US-101 / Ventura Fwy on the west side of Pleasant Valley Rd / Santa Rosa Rd overpass.
Note 2 - Eventhough I did not attend this high school I've always liked their mascot since I am a Scorpio. Another tidbit of information is that Camarillo High School was established in 1956, the same year I was established.
