BAR-HEADED GOOSE

(Anser indicus)

The Bar-Headed Goose flies extremely high and is able to navigate the Himalayas during migration.

Due to the high altitudes that the Bar-Headed Goose flies, they are able to breathe very deeply and efficiently under low oxygen conditions.

Bar-Headed Geese have a slightly larger wing area for their weight compared to other geese to help them fly in the thinner air at altitude.

Here I'm interested in things that erode with time but are still left standing and are awfully majestic about it.
