4468 'Mallard on display at York National Railway Museum. 07/01/2020. Paul Manley.
4468 passing Burton Lane, York, on the 9th of July 1986 with the Scarborough Spa Express. This was the locomotives first run on the mainline since it was withdrawn from service in 1963.

Last Saturday and Sunday 6th and 7th November, a chance to climb in the cabs of Deltic, APT-E and Mallard.
My son James loved it. He also got to meet Kit Spackman "Mr Tilt" of the APT - E development programme and listen to his illustatred talk and get him to sign his autograph on the brochure for the original development that James has in his collection.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
