My entry to "Looking close...on Friday" came as a surprise. I posted this photo without knowing of this week's subject. I think this pic shows the beautiful texture of the Clematis flower.

This is how a big Clematis flower looks when it is time to emerge from the stem with a new bud ;-)
This photo was taken in the Spring. Right now the garden is almost bare, other than a few roses here and there :-)

Ein 186 Pärchen mit 186 440 an der Spitze bespannte TEC 43821 in Kufstein für den Transport über den Brenner nach Italien und war hier bei Schaftenau zu sehen.

628 440 passiert in den letzten Sonnenstrahlen des Tages das Einfahrsignal Fridolfing auf seiner Reise als RB 27988 von Salzburg nach Mühldorf.
Mittlerweile Geschichte sind die Einsätze der Baureihe 440 auf der Strecke Treuchtlingen - Würzburg. Im August vergangenen Jahres war davon noch nichts zu spüren. 440 321 fuhr an diesem Sommerabend durchs Maintal und wird in Kürze Würzburg erreichen.

Den ordentlich verspäteten DGS 43125 bespannte die 186 440 vom Brenner bis nach Verona. Bei Mauls in Südtirol wurde der Zug mit einem grüßenden Lokführer erwartet.
Am späten Nachmittag gelang bei Hilperting noch ein Bild vom DGS 48867, der von 186 440 gezogen wurde.
