When I took this photo four years ago in Singapore, I coludn't identify the species. Recently I salvaged this image, easily recognized they have black beaks, black legs and yellow feet. And surprised there were 43 egrets!

MNNR 43 and 44 head south back towards White Bear Lake with eight cars after doing some work and running around the train at Hugo.
All was well for 43 but later in 2024 it would have a prime mover issues and become a parts unit. While 44 looks identical to 43, it was always nice to hear 43's Leslie while chasing the Hugo job.
For the theme this week "Black background" I post this photo to the 52 weeks group and I dedicate it to my flickr friend tito !
43 544 and freight train 20610 in the Iskar river gorge. Bad luck with the sun, the train miss the sun by a few seconds.
