Zum Fahrplanwechsel im kommenden Dezember werden sich die roten 426 von der Nebenbahn Traunstein - Ruhpolding verabschieden. Die BRB übernimmt dann mit neuen Flirts den Verkehr. Die aktuell eingesetzten 426 werden von der Südostbayernbahn betrieben, für die Wartung ist die Werkstatt der S-Bahn München in Steinhausen zuständig. 426 028 wurde am 05.09.2022 bei Eisenärzt angetroffen.

Vorbei ist die Ära der Baureihe 426 auf der Strecke von Traunstein nach Ruhpolding. Mitte Oktober 2022 war die Welt noch in Ordnung, als der 426 026 bei herrlichem Herbstwetter die Traun überquerte und in Kürze den Bahnhof Eisenärzt erreichen wird.

Mittlerweile Geschichte sind die Einsätze der Baureihe 426 auf der Strecke Traunstein-Ruhpolding. 426 028 war Mitte Oktober auf dem Weg nach Ruhpolding, als der Quietschi die Traun bei Eisenärzt überquert hat.

132 426-8 / 232 426-7 der NRE zieht einen leeren Getreide Zug aus dem Bahnhof von Barby bzw. was davon noch übrig ist. Nachdem mehrere Jahre in Barby kaum etwas fuhr scheint momentan eine Hochphase vorzuherrschen, teilweise sind 2-3 Züge die Woche auf diesem Reststück Kanonenbahn unterwegs.
NRE's 132 426-8 / 232 426-7 power's her train out of the oldshool station of Barby. After years of little to no traffic this last remains of the "Gun Track" gets one to three trains a week.

Am Sonntag verkehrt meist eine RTB 186 am Centrum/Essers KLV nicht wie üblich bis Darmstadt, sondern bis Passau, um dort den Gegenzug wieder retour nach Belgien zu bespannen. Am 4.8. war 186 426 "RTB Rotterdam" für diese Leistung eingeteilt. Bei Vilshofen gelang ein Bild von DGS 40679.
426 028 war am 21.01.2021 als RB 27513 von Traunstein nach Ruhpolding unterwegs und wurde bei Eisenärzt fotografiert.

186 426 und 193 994 waren mit dem Centrum-KLV aus Belgien nach Passau bzw Curtici unterwegs und konnten bei Strasskirchen abgepasst werden.
Am 17.10. rollte 186 426 mit DGS 45181 nach Passau und konnte bei Langenisarhofen abgelichtet werden.

132 426-8 / 232 426-7 der NRE zieht ihren leeren Getreidezug auf Strecke in Richtung Abzweig Werkleitz, von dort geht es weiter zum Abzweig Seehof bevor es auf die Hauptbahn nach Schönebeck geht.
132 426-8 / 232 426-7 drag's her empty train out of Barby, in a few kilometers the train will pass the Werkleitz junction before going near Seehof junction onto the maintrack to Schönebeck

132 426-8 / 232 426-7 der NRE fuhr für drei Tage je einen Leerkohlezug pro Tag vom HKW Chemnitz nach Profen. Über die Lackierung kann man sicher streiten, jedoch ist man heute ja schon froh, wenn überhaupt noch ein Russe fährt. Himmerhartha.
