A surprisingly clean SBB Cargo liveried Re 6/6, No.620 074 'Murgenthal' is paired with smaller counterpart Re 4/4 11341 as they pass Einigen leading train 41647, the 03:00 Köln Eifeltor to Milan Smistamento intermodal service.

Grade II Listed Church of Saint Luke in Holton le Moor, a small village in West Lindsey, Lincolnshire.
The original church was built in the 11th Century but was re-built in 1854 by George Place in Early English style, consisting of a chancel, nave, north aisle, and a bell turret with two bells. It was again partly rebuilt in 1926 by H. G. Gamble. The earlier parts of the church are ironstone, the doorway Norman style, and the stoup 13th century. There are memorials to the Dixon family, Lords of the Manor, painted wall decoration in the south chapel and stained-glass windows from 1893.

With the lettering of its original owner showing through the rust, ITLX #41647 is on home rails as it sits along York Rd. in Bensenville, waiting to continue into CP's Bensenville Yard. Built by P/S in Butler PA. in Aug. 1978, this 4750 cu. ft. car was the MILW #101482.

Twee onbekende plan V's passeren de spoorbrug over het Wantij onderweg van Dordrecht naar Geldermalsen.
Two unknown emu's from the plan V type are passing the lifting bridge over the Wantij nearby Dordrecht on their way to Geldermalsen.
Located in Royston, near Barnsley, Yorkshire at the corner of Midland Road and Victoria Road, the Palace Cinema was opened in 1914 (the date is in the stonework above the entrance). The proscenium was 11 feet wide. It was equipped with a British Thomson Houston (BTH) sound system in the early-1930s.
In the mid-1950s it was equipped with CinemaScope and the proscenium was extended to 24 feet wide. The Palace Cinema was still open in 1966, but had closed by 1980.
It is now in use as Pockets snooker club.

The firm of Burlison & Grylls was founded in 1868 at the instigation of the architects George Frederick Bodley and Thomas Garner.
Thomas John Grylls (1845-1913) and John Burlison (1843-1891) were encouraged to leave their apprenticeships with Clayton & Bell and set up their stained glass firm which built a considerable reputation for its fine work over the next 40 years. They became one of the most successful stained glass firms in England.
Following Thomas John Grylls' death in 1913, the firm was continued by his son Thomas Henry Grylls (1873-1953), although effectively it can be said to have closed shortly after its London premises were bombed and all records destroyed in 1945.

Captured with a telephoto 70-300mm from the inside of my car from my driver's seat through the passenger window. I am surprised that it came out so well from about 20 feet or so.

Robert R Allen, son of John Allen and Alice Reynolds Allen. Husband of Sarah B. "Sally" Allen.
Robert R. Allen, age 83 of Prestonsburg, KY, husband of Sarah B. "Sally" Allen, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at his residence. He was born January 19, 1939 in Martin, KY a son of the late John and Alice Reynolds Allen. He was a United States Army veteran and a member of the First Baptist Church Irene Cole Memorial.
Along with his wife he is survived by one son: Robert R. Allen II (Kathy), Prestonsburg, KY; one daughter: Rachel E. Allen, Prestonsburg, KY; two brothers: David D. Allen and Stephen R. Allen (Terri) both of Lexington, KY; two sisters: Judith McCreary, Prestonsburg, KY and Mary Alice Leslie (David Richard), Florida; four grandchildren: Robert R. III, Wilson Kingsley, Christina Elizabeth and Rebekah Suzanne; He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by one brother: John Allen Jr.
Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Prestonsburg, KY with Seth Carter officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday at the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY and from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the church.
