The sun setting during the final runs of the day on the final RallyCross weekend of the year for WDCR SCCA.

It's always hard to pick out just one "best" shot of a year, but this one stands out to me. It has a certain emotion to it that's unique in my portfolio, in addition to being one of the rarest and technically challenging photo opportunities I had this year (Comet NEOWISE notwithstanding). So in a year where I got my first real paying gigs, photographed a comet, acquired a tilt-shift lens, and shot my die-cast models in lockdown, this is probably my favorite photo; Not just because of the image itself, but for the friends I've started to make at these events and the real appreciation they show for my work.
The streets surrounding the official show area certainly had a few things of interest. This E21 looked to be in great condition.
