This render was re-worked in Photoshop to have a "false color" effect like many photographs brought to us courtesy of "NASA scientists." According to NASA scientists, this false color is pretty realistic, as far as faked false color goes.

Texture used in the eyes are created in Photoshop.

I wanted to make sure that the eyes weren't lifeless. I scoured the internet to find the correct refraction setting for the cornea. I played around with the transparency & reflection settings until I achieved the desired effect.

Using Mental Ray renderer allowed me to give the subject lifelike skintones.
