📚✍️ Embracing a Lifelong Learning Journey! ✍️📚

School wasn't my cup of tea back then, and I'll be honest, I couldn't wait to break free from those classroom walls. But here's the twist – as an adult, I've come to realize my deep passion for learning, especially when it involves topics that truly captivate my interest. 🌟🎓

I went through the motions, earned a Bachelor's Degree to make my parents proud, but my professional journey took a different path, one that wasn't directly related to my degree. Most of the skills I rely on today? I'm proud to say I'm mostly self-taught, thanks to the wonders of "YouTube University" – a hub of knowledge and inspiration for countless creatives like me in the industry. 🎥📚

Beyond the world of 3D modeling and video games, I have a unique passion – calligraphy and the art of collecting fountain pens. ️

It might seem a tad old-fashioned to wield a physical writing instrument, especially an inked fountain pen, in today's digital age. But there's something truly magical about the writing experience that a good fountain pen offers. ✒️💫

It saddens me to see that handwriting and calligraphy have taken a back seat in education as the digital era surges forward. But the love for exquisite handwriting remains close to my heart. 💖

Here's a 3D render capturing the essence of one of my cherished fountain pen brands, TWSBI. 🌟✨ #FountainPenMagic #3DRender #CalligraphyLove #LifelongLearning #SelfTaught #YouTubeUniversity #InkAndPaper #WriteYourStory #CreativePassion

This striking digital artwork serves as a stylized commemorative plaque for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. The central image features the iconic "Warbonnet" silver and red locomotive winding its way through the sheer cliffs of a sun-drenched canyon. The train's graceful curve emphasizes the rugged terrain of the American West that the "Grand Canyon Line" became famous for.

The piece is enclosed in a highly decorative, mixed-media style border that includes:

Embossed Metallic Reliefs: Featuring Native American profiles in the corners.

Textured Inlays: Geometric patterns inspired by Southwestern textile arts and beadwork.

Cultural Icons: Stylized Kachina-like figures and a central medallion featuring a roadrunner and saguaro cactus—symbols of the desert landscape.

Vintage Typography: Highlighting the "Super Chief" and "Chief" names, the flagship trains of the Santa Fe fleet.

History

The Santa Fe Railway was instrumental in promoting tourism to the American Southwest in the early 20th century. By branding itself as "The Grand Canyon Line," the railroad became inseparable from the identity of the region.

The Super Chief: Introduced in 1936, it was the first all-Pullman sleeping car diesel-powered train in America. It set the gold standard for luxury travel, featuring fine dining and "Pleasure Domes" for viewing the scenery.

The Warbonnet Design: The distinctive red, silver, and yellow paint scheme seen on the locomotive in this image is one of the most recognizable designs in railroad history. It was intended to evoke the ceremonial headdress of Native American warriors, aligning with the railroad’s heavy use of Indigenous motifs in its marketing.

Fred Harvey Connection: The Santa Fe was also famous for its partnership with the Harvey House restaurants and hotels, which provided high-quality hospitality to travelers across the "High Desert" pathways.

3d render of a model I built and textured. I really like these old arcade flyers that were sent out to buyers, so I made my own. I made the character for a game I worked on, Kelly Slater Pro Surfer.

🎮✨ Sharing a Glimpse of the Past! ✨🎮

I may have been quiet on the creative front lately due to a season break in product launches, but today, I'm thrilled to reveal a couple of controllers that hold a special place in my design journey. 🌟🎨

Around a year ago, I had the privilege of crafting these beauties, both of which found their spot in the Official Microsoft Xbox Summer Collection lineup. 🌞🎮

These controllers are more than just images; they're 3D renders brought to life with the magic of SolidWorks and the incredible rendering power of Keyshot. ️🌐

The PDP Frosted Diamond controller, in crisp white, was an exhilarating challenge. Capturing the unique material in the 3D realm was no easy feat. If you peeked at the Keyshot Materials Graph, it would resemble a tangle of spaghetti, all to achieve that authentic, realistic look! 🍝🎨

The Australian Opal controller, on the other hand, presented its own set of artistic hurdles. It blended metallic paints with a matte-like texture, requiring meticulous attention to detail. 🎨💎

I'm immensely proud of the final results, and it warms my heart to know that Microsoft appreciated them enough to feature them in their official lineup. 😃🎉

Stay tuned for more creative adventures, and thank you for being a part of this incredible journey! 🙏❤️ #DesignAdventures #XboxSummerCollection #3DRendering #GamingMagic #KeyshotArt #GamerLife #DesignInspiration #XboxSeriesX #GamingController #CreativeProcess

Jelly Fruits 001 Series

A captivating visual exploration titled "Jelly Fruits 001," where the organic forms of nature meet a surreal, gelatinous reality. This series features a variety of fruits—including apples, strawberries, grapes, and pineapples—rendered with a hyper-realistic, translucent texture that mimics jelly or polished resin. The vibrant, saturated colors glow from within as light passes through their semi-transparent bodies, often accompanied by fluid, melting drips that pool elegantly on a clean, minimalist white surface. Each piece balances the familiar shape of a fruit with an otherworldly, squishy aesthetic, highlighting the intricate details of seeds, rinds, and stems through a lens of artistic liquefaction and high-key studio lighting.
