Houston ... we have "noodle".

Effortlessly uploaded by Eye-Fi

One of the many boxes of spare parts.

In this box: spare X and Y stages (wood), bearing outriggers, stepper driver boards, spare extruder cntroller, spare IDC cables, spare acrylic platforms, lots of mistake prints, 4" Kapton tape, a few mk4 plastruders, and on and on.

The "bad" bolt ;)

Actually it did its job pretty well. What I really disliked is the delrin stuff that added lots of friction. I finally designed my own filament feeder I'll post when I am at revision #3 ;)

Anycubic Mono 4K - 1st Print - Cones of Calibration - 1st Fail - 17-07-2022

Printer: Anycubic Mono 4K

1st Print EVER!

File Name: Cones of Calibration

1st Fail

Print Date: 17-07-2022

Resin: Anycubic Water Washable (Stinky! offensive to be in room)

Power: 50%

Slice: 0.08

Setting Default as per Photon Workshop

Normal Exposure: 2.00s

Off Time: 6.50s

Bottom exposure Time: 40.0s

Bottom Layers: 6

Anti-alias: 1

Surface Abrazine: off (frosty effect I think)

The UV Power was turned down as everyone says to do this to prolong screen life. Screens cost more then the printer did no inclined to do this.

Temp: 21°C Humidity 78%

Result: a blasted failure where about 0.5mm printed and the print itself just failed as the raft was well stuck to FEP.

Had to drain the tank and filter the resin which was messy but I had the lab stand and filters which helped. Really need a longer stand pole to clamp a vat holder to.

I managed to get the print fail from the FEP by wiggling with finger underneath and careful lifting with plastic spatula. FEP possible scratched by paper tower used to wipe resin.

It was attached to the Build plate before separation and binding to FEP as can be seen from the lines on the Resin print itself.
