Creating 3D conceptual designs for the interior of spaces is one of I-5 Design and Manufacture’s specialties. This computerized technology allows for the customer to visualize exactly how the space will look upon completion without the alteration of any structural elements beforehand. For the Rio Market, I-5 Design and Manufacture created a lively and fresh look for their interior seating area with the use of bright colors and custom finishes. To create an appetizing look for the Bakery department, I-5 Design and Manufacture chose a warm color palette of oranges and golden tones. To make each department unique, custom graphics depicting key elements of each department were painted onto the feature wall behind the brushed aluminum dimensional lettering which were then lit with appropriately colored LED's hidden in the valance to illuminate the artwork. This was for my 2nd Year FMP.
Chicago set with a slightly blue hue.
The set was made with plywood. The detailing was made with puffy paint. The detail, with the Palace Theatre's logo, under the proscenium arch was made with card. The curtain was made with a sewing machine.
This is the design of the frozen food department, which I-5 Design and Manufacture created using 3D technology. For this department, I-5 chose a blue color scheme that is portrayed in elements such as the hanging banners with full color high-resolution artistic artwork depicting snowflakes with a decorative brushed aluminum trim producing a fresh wintery look. This color scheme was also continued through to the department blade signs, which have white lettering and identify the contents of particular freezer cases. I-5 Design and Manufacture created this is the 3D design rendering using state-of-the-art 3D technologies. One of the goals for this design was to produce an environment that was warm and friendly with an inviting shopping atmosphere for the customers. This was accomplished by the large feature walls, which proudly display the department names and sub names in a bold, yet classic way with brushed aluminum letters that are up-lit with LED lighting. Another key feature shown in this design is the suspended wood and stainless steel grid structure that visually lowers the high ceiling and draws the eye downward to the fresh produce beneath.
