Ik was best tevreden dat ik op 25 februari voor de eerste keer een Vectron kon vastleggen op Belgisch grondgebied, maar de eerlijkheid gebied mij te zeggen dat het niet de eerste keer was dat ik er één kon zien met goederentrein aan de haak... en dan heb ik het niet over mijn buitenlandse avonturen ;-)
Op 17 december 2020 was ik namelijk dank zij een tip al van Langdorp naar Berlaar gereden, waar een rode Vectron zou passeren met een keteltrein aan de haak.
Maar ja, gezien de talrijke wolken in de lucht, gebeurde wat moest gebeuren.
De graffitibesmeurde Break die drie minuten voor de cargo doorkwam, zat nog mooi in het zonnetje, maar bij de Vectron liep het helaas faliekant af. 50 meter had ik te kort om de loc in de zon te krijgen, in plaats daarvan zit die compleet in de fotowolk.
Gelukkig heb ik de foto van de Break nog, ben ik toch niet voor niets naar hier getrokken, al heb ik via Photoshop wel wat digitale opkuis moeten doen ;-)

In a sunny spell, we can see this Break passing Berlaar on the 17th of December 2020.
The freight train with Vectron in front that was following this one, became victime of the so called photo cloud. A pity, but hey in the meantime I already made my first pictures of Vectron hauled cargo's on Belgian soil ;-)
