Overlooking Inverness from the Kessock Bridge...

The Kessock Bridge carries the A9 across the Beauly Firth just north of Inverness. Opened in 1982, this elegant cable-stayed bridge replaced the former ferry crossing and became a vital gateway to the Highlands, significantly reducing journey times for traffic heading north.
