One of those locations I have been looking forward to shooting. After such a good start to the trip in Glencoe and Etive, it was a little disappointing to see the weather closing in as we approached Fort William. A little bit of artistic licence with this image to make up for the drab conditions
inspired by this very cold morning at the bus stop.

The paint on this car was luminous, what a spectacular restoration. From the Rods and Rhodies Invitational at Florence, Oregon.

Service 36 is allowed out quite late into the evening now, and we’re on Henderson Row, Canonmills, at near to 10.30pm.
I was returning home from a dinner party, and noticed that there were a few people waiting to board. I didn’t have my camera with me, and this shot was taken on a mobile ‘phone. I was astonished that Volvo 7900, number 38 (BG64 FXL) came out as well as this. Perhaps I need to get out at night more often!
The One True Match.
After my match head shot the other day I have been thinking of other ways to include them in this 366. This popped in my head today so once I'd finished my tea I got my thinking cap on for the set up.
I made a snake out of blue tac and made a circle out of it. I stuck matches all the way around then I placed a blob of it on the matchbox in the middle of the circle. I stuck "King" match on that and framed up. I wanted to be looking up at the one in the middle so I got as low as I could.
1 x LP Brushes blue filter behind and blew vape all around. I let that "burn" in for about 5 seconds and replaced the lens cap. I then swapped the filter to the orange one, removed the lens cap again and side lit the matches before replacing the lens cap again. Finally I lit the King about 20mm from the top with a lighter and let the top set alight before removing the lens cap for a final time and ending the exposure after about 3 seconds of burn.
Pretty happy with how this came out and I'm looking forward to putting all the burnt matches to use in a future shot.
Happy days.
