the weather was absolutely astounding today. just beautiful. i woke up to sunny skies, frolicked in some light rain, and ended the day in the most gorgeous sunlight i have seen for quite some time.
again, i spent much time today cleaning out my apt and old room at my parents. but, it will be the last day of moving! in fact... i just have to go and get one more load of things and i shall be all moved home for the summer - and for the first time in 2 years. its sort of exhilarating for some reason. and i really dont get it... why would i be feeling so free as i move in with my parents?
and i officially no longer have photoshop. so heres to the start of SOOC every day. well, besides the crop and the b&w. :D
i dunno why, but i feel like jumping up and down and giggling with joy. i have NO IDEA where this is coming from. but this is my gift to the world.

Arp 38 (NGC 6412, UGC 10897 and others) is a nice spiral located approximately 74 million light-years away in Draco. In the ‘Spiral galaxies – companions on arms – low surface brightness companions’ class, it looks like Arp might have made a mistake. There doesn’t appear to be any companions. I have a feeling some of the knots in NGC 6412 were thought to be galaxies.
Luminance – 27x600s – 270 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2
390 minutes total exposure – 6 hours 30 minutes
Imaged June 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2019 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.

The finished piece of felt. Now it's dry, the silk shows up. The organza didn't felt as well as hoped, but it's like that-some seems to felt really well, another that feels exactly the same won't.
