Lo primero que me vino a la cabeza cuando pensé en este tema fue el mar. Los que me seguís en mis fotografías, sabéis que no es extraño que fuese lo primero en mi pensamiento. Intenté buscar otras cosas que me parecen bellas y maravillosas, pero para que engañarme, sabia que al final volvería a el.
Me parece bello y maravilloso poder disfrutarlo siempre, sin importar la estaciones. Me parece bello y maravilloso, sus tonalidades, su calma y su fuerza.
....Y caí rendida a sus pies....

Pier 38 in San Francisco has historically been used for maritime activities, including serving as a loading and transfer point for lumber schooners and other cargo, and as a military logistics center during World War II. During the war it was a vital military logistics center. Troops, equipment, and supplies were moved from the piers to support the war effort in the Pacific. In recent years, it has been vacant but has been the subject of revitalization plans that aim to include mixed-use developments with public and commercial spaces, such as restaurants, offices, and recreational facilities.
The piers in San Francisco don't go in numerical order because the Ferry Building is the center point for numbering. Odd-numbered piers are located north of the Ferry Building, and even-numbered piers are located south of it. This system was adopted after the 1906 earthquake and fire to modernize the pier numbering.
