Week 38 in 52 Weeks for Dogs and I've resorted to a quick shot with my phone this morning. My week has been a bit fraught as unfortunately Clive had a fall on Monday and fractured the head of his humerus and has broken the bone further down as well. I've not been able to leave him for too long and consequently haven't been able to get to the forest to give Tasku a run. (Or take photos!)
At registration for the 2018 Back to the Fifties car show. This one has been mounted on a newer four wheel drive chassis...but it doesn't fit very well.

Pier 38 in San Francisco has historically been used for maritime activities, including serving as a loading and transfer point for lumber schooners and other cargo, and as a military logistics center during World War II. During the war it was a vital military logistics center. Troops, equipment, and supplies were moved from the piers to support the war effort in the Pacific. In recent years, it has been vacant but has been the subject of revitalization plans that aim to include mixed-use developments with public and commercial spaces, such as restaurants, offices, and recreational facilities.
The piers in San Francisco don't go in numerical order because the Ferry Building is the center point for numbering. Odd-numbered piers are located north of the Ferry Building, and even-numbered piers are located south of it. This system was adopted after the 1906 earthquake and fire to modernize the pier numbering.
The last couple of days have been pretty chilly in the morning with temperatures hovering around 2 degrees C. The joy of these times is the frosty jewels found in the water droplets on the plants So here is a dandelion flower covered in icy droplets.
The term I just made up "digital lomography" is an oxymoron of sorts. Lomography is a genre using typically cheap analog cameras and film. The results of color mishaps, high saturation, distortions, blurs and very heavy vignetting are common and sought after.
My attempt here is to get as close as I could by processing a shot from my mirrorless camera.
Am I cheating?.... maybe.
