and 150m high is this Liège stairway named Montagne de Bueren. It was constructed around 1880.
Quite a climb, but you will be rewarded with a magnificent view on this Belgium city.
I actually found it quite difficult to approximate how one would perceive the enormous height of the stairs in real life, and still wondering what orientation and cropping would have been the best.

Ein nicht alltägliches Doppel konnte man am 12.5. vor dem Gartner-KV bestaunen - 185 373 war vor der untauglichen und eigentlichen Zuglok, 470 505, von Karlsruhe nach Passau unterwegs und konnte an der Löwenwand nahe Seestetten fotografiert werden.
Der nächste Umleiter ließ nicht lange auf sich warten - bei Görwangs konnte der fotogene Zug mit der 233 373 auf dem Weg nach Lindau fotografiert werden.
Nachdem in Schwandorf die Wagen der verschiedenen Übergaben zusammen rangiert worden sind, geht es als EK56908 wieder nach Nürnberg. Hier passiert der Zug mit 233 373 gerade das östliche Einfahrtssignal von Freihöls.
