When I first went out to find a photo for today, it was sunny but then it started getting cloudy again. I took several shots, but the reflection of the sky on the saturated country lane felt ethereal.

Something a little bit different........

you give yourself a little pep-talk. you can hear the engines rumbling underneath you and up through the concrete. that smell of gasoline and the sweat that rolls down your forehead. the flag goes up, and you tear out onto the track, screeching tires all around you. the number 9 car is right on your tail, drafting, while the UPS car is trying to put you into the wall.

and then you realize all of a sudden that it's the last lap and you need to push for first. turns out the person in first is your little brother. turns out he won't let you forget that he beat you.

man, go-carts really does bring out the kid in you. (:

great day today, beach, go-carts, home, hopefully some sleep. i hope everyone's day was as a good as mine.

I've navigated the art of making snowmen...even little ones over the years.

leaving work after 8pm and noticed it's still some light at this time. A snap shot.... the only image I took this day.

i'm keeping on experimenting with splash photography. it's still a very long way to go, but i'm quite pleased with this picture. plus, i'm having a great time

Did someone say it was snacky snack time?????

So, today i give my first try to a 365 project. Im telling you, it wont be easy because one bad thing about me is that im very unconssistent. Today, my yougest kid, 2 years old, is still awake. And that is impressive specially if you know that he was still awake at 3am in the new years dinner party. So, really hope I can beat him in staying awake.
