Had an amazing morning yesterday at the magical Goðafoss in Iceland. Got there for 1st light and had some great coloured skies. Did a 360 video too at youtu.be/wssUKHGYI_Y
The video works best on a smart phone where you can move the phone around and see in 360 degrees.

This cyborg creature is modelled after the bobbit worm, an astounding predator whose signature attack has delighted me since I started watching videos of it fishing.
I've got a 360 video of the model up on Instagram too. Hope you enjoy!
Midnight at Grayling Lake, a 360° video. 67° north latitude, longitude -150, mile 150 Dalton Highway. Jack Elliot mountains, just south of the Brooks Range. What an awesome place to spend the summer solstice, with the sun never setting.
Above Porsgrunn and Seljord in Telemark in Norway, pilot Terje Traaholt are doing aerobatics during a 25 min flight with an Aero L-29 Viper. This aircraft was produced in Czechoslovakia by Aero Vodochody i 1974. This type of airplane was mainly used as a jet trainer for the Soviet and Bulgarian Air Forces.

The image is shot with two Gopro cameras mounted on a iZugar Z2X rig, with two special lenses (circular fisheye 194 degrees FOV). The image is captured from this video, which is 4K.
Ugh, this thing is a beast. So hard to photograph; it's really better in person, as there's no one good "front" angle. I'll get more shots (and maybe a 360° video) tomorrow.
See it next week in Brickworld (if it survives the car trip)!
Detail pictures are up! If there are any areas I missed or that you'd like to see closer, let me know now, before I pack it!

It's been 95 days in New Zealand without any community-spreading of Covid-19, which makes all of us here feel quite grateful. Good job to our PM Jacinda (I guess I can say that now that I am a citizen!). I just finished a new 360 video that I will publish soon about all the reasons I moved here... It's being edited now and I'll release it soon. Only one of the 7 reasons was "Just In Case of a Pandemic" - but I think you'll like all the other ones too. One of the other main reasons is I like all the locally grown organic food and it makes me feel more directly connected to the Earth and keep us healthy. This kinda thing is more important than most people think.

Yesterday I made a big, juicy blog post about my recent 150km hike across Spain. This is the final scene at the end of the Camino, as you approach the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela. Today I'm off to Africa for almost four weeks on a photo adventure! This is a photo from my last time there where we tracked this furtive lady for many days and finally found her eating a warthog in a tree. If you're a Stuck In Customs Passport member (check the website), then you'll see some fun 360 videos I'll be posting from there, as well as 10 tutorial episodes from my previous visit to Africa. I'm doing only one international workshop this year... and one next year in New Zealand. Check the blog for more details on this stuff!

Explore the Space Station’s first module with your mobile phone or virtual-reality headset
This 360° video allows you to explore the International Space Station’s first module, Zarya. Launched on 20 November 1998, it was joined three weeks later by the US Unity module. Also known as the Functional Cargo Block, the module is now mainly used for storage.
ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti took the pictures to form these images in June 2015 at the end of her 199-day Futura mission.
Explore this module in YouTube and Facebook format with your mobile phone or take the full International Space Station tour on the ESA website with videos and extra information.

Panoramic image shot using 6 GoPro cameras on a Freedom360 rig. The result of this recording was large crystal clear image (11000 x 5500 pix). I'm surprised how good quality that can be achieved using standard GoPro cameras for images like this.
This image is captured from a 360 video, shot during 60 minutes in Moss in Norway. Shutter speed is 10 sec. Stitching software is PTGUI.

When the solar eclipse went into the totality phase, there was a sudden darkness as if the day was turning into the night. Aside from my Sony A6000 with telephoto lens aiming at the sun, I had my Canon 5D Mark3 and wide angle lens with me. I was not expecting the whole area turned so dark that quickly. But I had my Canon set to auto ISO and forgot to open up the aperture. I fired several shots at the surrounding area with my Canon while framing the sun at its corona stage. There wasn't too much time for me to think about my composition as I also had my Sony fired for the close up shots as well. Meanwhile, I also had my Nikon Keymission 360 set up in few feet in front of me taking 360 video. Talking about multitasking!!
