L'evento denominato il "Treno delle Città murate" è stato effettuato in occasione della festa del "Prosciutto Veneto D.O.P. di Montagnana" e delle bellezza della Città di Este e dei Colli Euganei collegate tra loro dalla pista ciclabile per coloro che hanno caricato la bicicletta nell'apposito carro.
Il convoglio era composto dalla locomotiva a vapore seguita dal carro FDIz 149091 e dalle carrozze AB 66538, Bz 36686, Bz 36632, Bz 36620, Bz 36090 e Bz 36299.
Ripreso successivamente in transito nella stazione di Boschi'Sant'Anna (VR).

The train consisted of the steam locomotive followed by the FDIz 149091 wagon and the AB 66538, Bz 36686, Bz 36632, Bz 36620, Bz 36090 and Bz 36299 carriages.
Subsequently resumed in transit to the station of Boschi'Sant'Anna (VR).

Steep Hill in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
It started out as a footpath behind the Roman road Ermine Street. In the 11th Century Ermine Street was diverted east to the current route of The Strait & Steep Hill. It was previously named The Poultry after the local poultry market, then Polther Hill, the Pultry before taking its current name Steep Hill in 1732. The part between Well Lane and Strait was called Foot of the Hill in 1826.
The Stamford Mercury in 1856 and Williamsons 1901 Guide to Lincoln also record the name Bower or Bowyers/Bowers Hill to Steep Hill, this was perhaps a short section on the west side opposite the Mayors Chair. John Speeds original 1607 survey plan names it Bore Hill. Lease plans of the early 19th century market it as High Street.
Two Norman houses lie on the street, Jew's House and Norman House, the latter formerly known as "Aaron the Jew's House". Both display characteristic Norman mullioned windows. Adjacent to and above the Jew's House stands Jew's Court, said to be from the Norman period but not displaying any obvious Norman features. There are some jettied half-timbered houses towards the top.
The Hill now consists of independent shops, tea rooms and pub and in 2011 Steep Hill was named "Britain's Best Place" by the Academy of Urbanism. The central (and steepest) part of the route is unsuited to any form of vehicle, and only passable on foot. A handrail is provided along this section.

Comment (relates to Flicker album 'Goodyera repens'): Goodyera repens is a widespread (Europe, Asia, North America) but nowhere a common orchid. It belongs to one of the smallest orchids (among about 80 taxa belonging to family Orchidaceae) present in Slovenia. It loves hidden, shady, secluded places and is often hidden in surrounding mosses and vegetation. Hence it is not commonly seen or a well-known plant. An encounter with it is, at least for me, always a happy experience. It commonly spreads vegetatively, therefor it grows often in groups of several plants. This fact reflects also in its species name 'repens' which means 'creeping'. This time I counted over 70 flowering plants in an area of about 4 square meters – a true mini orchids garden.

El Colegio Alemán de Madrid fue fundado en 1896 y tuvo su primera sede en la carrera de San Jerónimo desde donde se traslada sucesivamente a las calles Espalter, Fortuny y López de Hoyos, antes de ocupar la sede de Concha Espina en 1961.
El nuevo Colegio Alemán en Madrid es la mayor obra civil realizada por el gobierno alemán en el extranjero. El proyecto redactado por el estudio de arquitectura berlinés Grüntuch Ernst asociado con los paisajistas Lützow7 resultó ganador del concurso convocado en 2009 para su construcción. El segundo premio recayó sobre los también alemanes Volker Staab junto con Levin Monsigny y los tercer y cuarto puestos fueron para los equipos formados por Sauerbruch Hutton con Ecosistema Urbano, y Moneo Brock con Fonts Retail respectivamente. Además han recibido mención los estudios de Mansilla y Tuñón, Müller Reimann y Schilling Architekten.
El proyecto se sitúa sobre una parcela, cedida para su uso por un periodo de 75 años a la República Federal Alemana por la Ciudad de Madrid, con superficie aproximada de 34.700 m2 situada en el PAU de Montecarmelo, al norte de la capital madrileña. El programa espacial se optimizó con los requisitos de una arquitectura moderna y pedagógica, y plantea, claramente definidas y zonificadas, una escuela primaria y secundaria para 1500 alumnos con cantina, cafetería, salón de actos con un aforo para 750 plazas, gimnasio-polideportivo multiusos y aparcamiento subterráneo, así como una escuela infantil –kindergarten- para 300 niños, lo que supone una superficie total construida de 27.063 m2. La solución propuesta ha sido valorada por su forma orgánica y su riqueza espacial, así como por su funcionalidad y su adaptación a las condiciones climáticas.
Según comentan sus arquitectos “cada uno de los edificios de los niveles escolares -educación infantil, primaria y secundaria- abrazan sendos patios que reinterpretan de forma contemporánea el ambiente concentrado de un claustro y, al mismo tiempo, con su apertura hacia el paisaje, hacen que sea experimentable la amplitud de la sierra cercana”.
Los arquitectos continúan su explicación sobre su trabajo: “Los edificios desarrollan situaciones espaciales diferenciadas a partir de la conjugación de los requisitos del programa con la situación topográfica del terreno. La fusión de las partes de los edificios se asemeja a una estructura orgánica de gran presencia plástica que parece haber crecido in situ. Todos los espacios comunes -los patios de entrada, el comedor, el salón de actos como sala de conciertos y multiusos con 750 asientos y el polideportivo- enmarcan la explanada delantera y conectan los edificios uno con otro”.
El color claro imperante en el edificio refleja, según el estudio alemán, el paisaje de la sierra madrileña. Algunas zonas del interior del colegio se resaltan con notas de color. En las escaleras, por ejemplo, las ventanas de colores filtran la luz natural y recuerdan, entre otras, a flores luminosas.
El edificio incorpora tecnologías y sistemas constructivos de primera generación habituales en Alemania, en algunos casos nunca antes empleados en obras en España. En muchos aspectos el Nuevo Colegio Alemán es un edificio pionero técnicamente en Madrid. Por otro lado, el diseño ha sido adaptado al clima de Madrid para optimizar sus prestaciones en cuanto a eficiencia energética. El diseño de la fachada permite el paso del sol del invierno pero protege del de verano y en el sótano, un laberinto térmico subterráneo se ocupa de controlar la temperatura del aire que después se empleara en ventilar el edificio. Por la realización prevista de instalaciones con aprovechamiento de energías renovables, que van mucho más allá de la medida habitual, el proyecto fue galardonado con el premio “Arquitectura y Energía” en julio de 2011 por el Ministerio Federal Alemán de Economía.
