The Bateleur eagle is the most famous of the snake eagles. Bateleur is French for 'tightrope-walker'. This name was probably chosen because of its distinctive aerial acrobatics.
The nuptial aerial display is spectacular, with steep dives by the male at the female. She will roll on her back, presenting her claws and then roll on over to right herself as he hurtles past. There may be follow-the-leader dipping and rolling flights, including 360 degree lateral 'barrel' rolls, often accompanied by very loud slapping together of the wings. This percussion can be heard from far, as well as the accompanied very loud crowing calls.

DB Cargo 193 360-5 met trein 41524 Hamm/Osnabrück - Antwerpen
Daar was die dan, de nieuwe "Lanfer" containertrein tussen Duitsland en België.
Met de info dat de 193 360 voor de trein zou zitten, en de trein redelijk beladen zou zijn, werd er koers gezet richting het oosten.
De nieuwe verbinding is er 1 uit 2 delen, namelijk een Osnubrück gedeelte en een Hamm gedeelte. Het Hamm gedeelte wordt dan gereden naar Osnabrück en daar gecombineerd. Als dat gedaan is wordt er koers gezet richting Bad Bentheim en gaat de trein dan via de Cup naar Antwerpen. De dag erop gaat de trein dan in omgekeerde volgorde weer van Antwerpen naar Osnabruck en Hamm.
Afijn, de trein getrokken door de witte DB Cargo 193 360 was mooi op tijd, lees iets eerder uit Bad Bentheim vertrokken, en passeert hier met een aardig beladen containertrein de omgeving van Deventer Colmschate en gaat na kopmaken op Deventer Goederen weer zijn weg vervolgen via de CUP / Den Bosch en Roosendaal naar België.
kurz vor Sonnenaufgang auf dem höchsten Berg im Harz.
