1977 haben sich, wie die Bundesbahn damals so schön sagte, die Züge das Rauchen abgewöhnt. Doch auch 40 Jahre später kommt es vor, wenn auch sehr selten, dass ein Zug, der kein Sonderzug für interessierte Fahrgäste oder Fotografen ist, von einer Dampflok gezogen wird. Vor mittlerweile fast 2 Jahren habe ich so etwas mal miterlebt, im Baustellenverkehr zwischen Hanau und Niederrad wurde tatsächlich die 50 3552 der Museumseisenbahn Hanau eingesetzt, welche auch inzwischen nach Fristablauf nicht mehr unter Dampf steht. Nachdem ich auf dem Rückweg aus Hanau war, erreichte mich die Meldung, dass sie sich mit einem Schotterzug auf den Weg nach Frankfurt gemacht hatte, stieg ich in Frankfurt-Ost aus. Auf der Deutschherrenbrücke konnte die Fuhre dann ganz knapp vor Licht aus fotografiert werden, Grüße gehen an den Mitfotografen.
