I've made a number of references to the two families of Peregrine Falcons I've been privileged to enjoy this past Spring, in particular, to their homeland cliffs where the Pacific Ocean meets the California shoreline. I particularly wanted this image to show **cliff**. Now, the juvenile falcon has only been flying a few days. But it is at home on these cliffs, and clearly able to do neck exercises with no worry of toppling over the edge. I was interested to see this behavior in the peregrine, as I have seen it many many times over the years in my burrowing owl experiences. Must be a muscle development thing.

De aangepaste Wadloper 3101 wacht op de volgende inzet. De kleurstelling met het zwarte masker doet me een beetje denken aan de NS Flow-kleurstelling. Opname te Leeuwarden in juni 1997.
B&P 3101 leads GW1 as it begins to work up the grade in Warsaw, NY. There are a couple of old box cars stored on either side of the old station. The siding they are on is no longer connected to the main track, and I assume they are for MOW storage. B&P 3101 leads the Southbound turn to Silver Springs at DL&W Jct in Pavilion, NY on December 19, 2019. It's hard to tell, but there used to be a bridge over the tracks about where the 4th unit is. The DL&W crossed this ex BR&P line on that bridge. There was also once an interchange here too, all has vanished long ago. I used to like to photograph the Southbound RS-97 Chessie train from the bridge.
An old bush with some new growth. Not sure if this bush will make it thru the Summer but time will tell.
