The San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge carries Interstate 80 across the San Francisco Bay. It passes through Yerba Buena Island, and Treasure Island is the larger, man-made island to the north. The original suspension span in the lower part of the photo opened in 1936, and the new eastern span on the right side of the photo opened in 2013.

The Grade I Listed Wells Cathedral (Officially named Cathedral Church of Saint Andrew) in Wells, Somerset.
The earliest remains of a building on the site are of a late Roman mausoleum, identified during excavations in 1980. An abbey church was built in Wells in 705 by Aldhelm, first bishop of the newly established Diocese of Sherborne during the reign of King Ine of Wessex. It was dedicated to Saint Andrew and stood at the present site of the cathedral's cloisters, where some excavated remains can be seen. The baptismal font in the cathedral's south transept is from this church and is the oldest part of the present building. In 766 Cynewulf, King of Wessex, signed a charter endowing the church with eleven hides of land. In 909 the seat of the diocese was moved from Sherborne to Wells.
The first Bishop of Wells was Athelm (909), who crowned King Æthelstan. Athelm and his nephew Dunstan both became Archbishops of Canterbury. During this period a choir of boys was established to sing the liturgy. Wells Cathedral School, which was established to educate these choir boys, dates its foundation to this point. Following the Norman Conquest, Bishop John de Villula moved the seat of the bishop from Wells to Bath in 1090. The church at Wells, no longer a cathedral, had a college of secular clergy.
The cathedral is thought to have been conceived and commenced in about 1175 by Bishop Reginald Fitz Jocelin, who died in 1191. Although it is clear from its size that, from the outset, the church was planned to be the cathedral of the diocese, the seat of the bishop moved between Wells and the abbeys of Glastonbury and Bath, before settling at Wells. In 1197 Bishop Reginald's successor, Bishop Savaric FitzGeldewin, with the approval of Pope Celestine III, officially moved his seat to Glastonbury Abbey. The title of Bishop of Bath and Glastonbury was used until the Glastonbury claim was abandoned in 1219.
Bishop Savaric's successor, Jocelin of Wells, again moved the bishop's seat to Bath Abbey, with the title Bishop of Bath. Jocelin was a brother of Bishop Hugh II of Lincoln and was present at the signing of the Magna Carta. Bishop Jocelin continued the building campaign begun by Bishop Reginald and was responsible for the Bishop's Palace, the choristers' school, a grammar school, a hospital for travellers and a chapel. In 1245 the ongoing dispute over the title of the bishop was resolved by a ruling of Pope Innocent IV who established the title as the "Bishop of Bath and Wells", as it has remained until this day, with Wells as the principal seat of the bishop.
The building programme, begun by Bishop Reginald Fitz Jocelin in the 12th century, continued under Jocelin of Wells, who was a canon from 1200, then bishop from 1206. It was designed in the new style with pointed arches, later known as Gothic, and which was introduced at about the same time at Canterbury Cathedral. Work was halted between 1209 and 1213 when King John was excommunicated and Bishop Jocelin was in exile, but the main parts of the church were complete by the time of the dedication by Bishop Jocelin in 1239.
By the time the cathedral, including the chapter house, was finished in 1306, it was already too small for the developing liturgy, and unable to accommodate increasingly grand processions of clergy. Bishop John Droxford initiated another phase of building under master mason Thomas of Whitney, during which the central tower was heightened and an eight-sided Lady chapel, completed by 1326, was added at the east end. Bishop Ralph of Shrewsbury followed, continuing the eastward extension of the choir and retrochoir beyond. He oversaw the building of Vicars' Close and the Vicars' Hall, to give the men who were employed to sing in the choir a secure place to live and dine, away from the town and its temptations. He had an uneasy relationship with the citizens of Wells, partly because of his imposition of taxes, and he surrounded his palace with crenellated walls, a moat and a drawbridge.

In June 2018, my wife & I attended a Family Wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn, 275 Baker Street in Atlanta, Georgia. One end the hallway on the on the 13 Floor (they call it Floor PH) gave me a Great View of the CSX Tracks, while the other end of the hallway gave me a great view of the Skyview Ferris Wheel across the street from Centennial Olympic Park.
I took these two photographs, from our Hotel Room on the 13th Floor at the Hilton Garden Inn. The Photograph shows (Left to Right) the A T and T Building, the Crown Plaza Hotel and the Bank of America Tower. These photographs were taken at Sunset. All Buildings in these photographs were near the North Avenue transit Center. The address for the Crowne Plaza Hotel is 590 West Peachtree Street Northwest, Atlanta, Georgia 30308.
Disclaimer: In my Photographs, the building in the center had a Crown Plaza Sign and a Stourbridge Sign, however when I looked at Google Earth Photograph of the building, it had only one sign "Melia". Google Earth is constantly being updated,and it's possible that the building could have been renovated or just changed ownership between the date that I took my Photograph and the time that Google Earth too their Photograph.

This photograph was taken at approximately Two O'clock in the afternoon. The address for the Bank of America Tower is Bank of America Plaza, 600 Peachtree St. NW, Atlanta, GA 30308. Overall, it was a Foggy, Rainy Day.
The Sun Trust tower was once the Second Tallest Building in Atlanta Georgia. It is a 902 Feet to the Very Tip Top !

Las Bodegas Real dispone en la Finca Marisánchez una nave de producción vinícola y una antigua hacienda. En el año 2004, el estudio Paredes Pedrosa recibe el encargo para la rehabilitación del cortijo y la ampliación de la bodega. En primer lugar, se interviene en la antigua hacienda – que se estructura en forma de U y con cubierta a dos aguas – a partir de la cubrición de un patio, el cual queda colonizado por una pérgola, un umbráculo de dos mil quinientos metros cuadrados en forma de estrella irregular, cuyos brazos se reparten para comunicar y focalizar las distintas piezas del programa, y en segundo lugar, la ampliación de la parte existente, incluyendo tienda, restaurante y acceso. Se caracteriza por la integración en un conjunto unitario en un paradigma de arquitectura contemporánea, de unos volúmenes de arquitectura tradicional que constituyen el cortijo, y otro de naturaleza industrial, constituido por la bodega en sí misma. Con esta operación se consigue dar coherencia y unidad al proyecto, que pese a los cambios de uso, conserva el característico aura de cortijo, propio de las bodegas de esta zona de España. El proyecto abarca una superficie de 8.232 m² de nueva planta y a 1.862 m² de rehabilitación de la edificación existente.
De la Memoria del proyecto de ParedesPedrosa arquitectos: En un paisaje marcado por el trazado geométrico regular de viñedos y olivares, se sitúan la antigua hacienda y la nave de la bodega, únicas construcciones en el entorno natural desde el que se perciben ya las estribaciones de la sierra de Cazorla. Encontrar una solución para los nuevos usos implica entreverar la arquitectura rural del cortijo y la industrial de la bodega con la ampliación que quiere dar una imagen arquitectónica unitaria al conjunto.
Partiendo de la organización de la hacienda dispuesta en U alrededor de un espacio abierto, se desliza en su interior la nueva pieza construida en forma de estrella irregular de cuatro brazos que enlaza las nuevas intervenciones y recorridos sin tocar los viejos muros encalados. Así, el germen de la intervención es el umbráculo que se sitúa en el patio del cortijo como lugar de estancia y conexión entre los distintos usos y la bodega, enlazando el conjunto de piezas construidas y espacios libres, extendiendo sus brazos desiguales hacia la entrada, restaurante, hotel y hacia la ampliación de la bodega que envuelve la nave existente.
El espacio queda organizado en cuatro partes de altura variable que se articulan en el centro a través de un patio pequeño en el que hay una fuente pentagonal.
