I did not know much about Borage until few days ago, when I stumbled upon it in the community gardens. Close look show fantastic opportunities for photographing this plant :-)

The borage herb is an old-fashioned plant that can get up to 2 feet (61 cm.) tall, or more. It is native to the Middle East and has an ancient history in war as an enhancement for bravery and courage. Growing borage provides the gardener with cucumber-flavored leaves for tea and other beverages as well as bright, starry blue flowers for decorating salads. All parts of the plant, except the roots, are flavorful and have culinary or medicinal uses.

Wilton Windmill, Wiltshire after sunset

I try to acknowledge each 50 increase in followers so having now just reached the 300 mark I thought I'd post this one. It's also of Wilton Windmill after sun set taken as I approached it before taking the star trails shot. I hadn't taken either of my telephoto lenses so had to shoot this on my 24-105mm using the 1.6 crop function. It's then been heavily cropped and enlarged using the ON1 Resize AI module to give what I think is a reasonable image given how much it's cropped. I loved the orange hue in the sky which made me pull over. I'm intrigued by what looks to be lighting on the windmill. It's not something I've added and I noticed a purple hue when shooting. When I got to the windmill there was no lighting on it but maybe they turn it off a little after sunset. I'll have to try to find out next visit.

Η σύνθεση της εκδρομικής αμαξοστοιχίας 7104/7105 αποτελούταν απο τις μουσειακές δηζελάμαξες ALCO Α.302 και Α.326 καθως και απο τρείς επιβατάμαξες των BDZ. Οι συγκεκριμενες μηχανές σπάνιας ομορφιάς, γνήσιες ''Αμερικάνες'' βρίσκονται εκτός τακτικής κυκλοφορίας απο το 1998, ενώ πλέον χρησιμοποιούνται μόνο σε εκδρομικά δρομολόγια.

On 2015, English Railway Friends organized an excursion to the Athens-Airport-Athens section of the suburban line. The composition of the train 7104/7105 consisted of the ALCO A.302 and A.326 museum diesel engines as well as three BDZ wagons. These "Americans" have been out of order since 1998, and are now only used on tours.

Op woensdag 17 Januari 2024 was de RFO 2019 302 voor het EERST !! in Nederland met een trein bestaande uit een

prachtige ketel trein (tr 42796 beladen met zonnebloem olie ) van Bad Bentheim naar Almelo , waar op Donderdag 18 Januari 2024 de rit naar Kijfhoek verder zou gaan , en zo kon ik in Mooie winterse omstandigheden deze mooie combinatie op station Amersfoort vastleggen waar de trein naar een korte stop weer verder zou rijden naar Kijfhoek en de trein was bestemd voor Rotterdam/ Pernis(ketel wagons waren EP Cargo ERR Zacns )
