SG72 NAO is a Yutong E10 new to Highland Country Buses in December 2022 as their 30103.
It is one of 25 similar buses due for Inverness depot and is seen here in the city centre operating service 2 to Craig Dunain.

Früher von mir gerne zum Fotografieren aufgesucht wurde der Bahnhof Aßling. Motivlich zwar recht trivial, aber recht gut erreichbar, konnte man dort nachmittags den Zugverkehr in Richtung Rosenheim gut dokumentieren. Begehrtes Fotoobjekt in den Nullerjahren waren die Verstärkerzüge im Berufsverkehr. Diese waren bevorzugtes Einsatzgebiet für den kleinen Bestand an Loks der Baureihe 110 im Bh München West. An einem schönen Tag im Mai 2007 konnte ich die 110 343 vor dem aus n-Wagen gebildeten RE 30103 von München HBF nach Kufstein bei der Durchfahrt durch den Bahnhof Aßling fotografieren. Die Lok wurde 1964 von Krauss-Maffei und Siemens gebaut und startete ihre Laufbahn im BW München 1. 1971 erlitt die Maschine einen schweren Schaden und wurde bis 1974 mit einem neuen Lokkasten komplett neu aufgebaut. Das konnte man auch gut an der Belüftungsöffnung über der Loknummer erkennen. Diese hatte sie nämlich ursprünglich nicht. Die 110 343 trug während ihrer Einsatzzeit drei Farbschemata in kobaltblau, orientrot und zuletzt wie hier gezeigt in verkehrsrot. 2011 wurde sie ausgemustert und im Anschluss nach 47 Dienstjahren verschrottet.
Aßling station used to be a favourite spot of mine for photography. Although the subject matter was rather mundane, it was easily accessible, and in the afternoons it was a good place to document the train services heading towards Rosenheim. A popular subject for photographers in the 2000s were the additional trains during the rush hour. These were the preferred route for the small fleet of Class 110 locomotives based at Munich West depot. On a fine day in May 2007, I was able to photograph 110 343 in front of the RE 30103, formed from N-class carriages, travelling from Munich Central Station to Kufstein as it passed through Aßling station. The locomotive was built in 1964 by Krauss-Maffei and Siemens and began its career at Munich 1 depot. In 1971, the locomotive suffered severe damage and was completely rebuilt with a new body until 1974. This was also clearly visible from the ventilation opening above the locomotive number, as it had not originally been there. During its service, 110 343 bore three liveries: cobalt blue, oriental red and, finally, as shown here, traffic red. It was taken out of service in 2011 and subsequently scrapped after 47 years of service.

K487EUX was a Leyland Olympian ON3R / Alexander R Type H53/31F which had began life as China Motor Bus LM6 with the registration number FW1878. It was operated by First Manchester as their 3007, before reaching Glasgow in 2003. It would receive fleetnumber Lt7, then 30103 in the national series, and is seen in Glassford Street in Glasgow. It would later pass to Eastern Counties.

We went on an overnight trip down to Atlanta. Attending the Industrial Nation presents Cold Waves 2025 at The Masquerade (Hell ). Bands on the line-up were: Lead Into Gold, Clock DVA and Front Line Assembly. We stayed at Aloft Downtown Atlanta.
Our dog, Rosey accompanied us on our ATL adventure. On the way down to ATL, we stopped at the Buc-ee's Calhoun location in Adairsville, GA. ( we also stopped again on our way back home ) Once we made it into the city, we checked into our hotel room before the show.
Ended up Ubering over to the venue. Didn't have to wait in line ( much at all ). I got a High Noon seltzer and found a spot in front of the mixing board. They were playing Autechre's Tri Repetae ++ over the PA before the show.
The 1st band to take the stage was Lead Into Gold ( Paul Barker ). Then the 2nd band was Clock DVA. After a short time, Paul Barker came out to the mercy booth and was signing vinyl and posing for selfies. I purchased his latest album, "Knife The Ally" on vinyl and he signed it and my vinyl copy of "Age of Reason" ( his 1st album ) as we chatted. Then we got someone in line to take a couple photos. Then I went back to my spot and watched the rest of Clock DVA's set. I got a 2nd High Noon seltzer and found a closer spot closer to the stage. The last band to perform for the evening was Front Line Assembly. They played a set list of their Wax Trax! era albums. ( even played one of the Cyberaktif track, "Nothing Stays" as their Encore ) After the show, I got an Uber back to the hotel room. We stayed up for a bit and watched The Big Bang Theory on Nick-at-Nite. Got up after 9am, gathered our stuff, and checked out. Got on the road taking a more casual drive. Making a couple pit stops along the way.

Fact The photo was shot at the 1 may demonstrations just in the outer area of Berlin. 1 may is also known as the International Workers' Day ( in german: Internationaler Tag der Arbeiterbewegung) . Aside from the Berliner Polizei, the bundespolizei and the landespolizei Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW) was also on the scene.
